Our tour guide, Chiara, was great! She was already there waiting at least 15 minutes before the tour even started. She was attentive, informative and funny. It was a long tour but worth it. We got to see and learn many fun facts that you would not know if you did the self guided tour. The view from the top of the Dome was breathtaking! Would definitely recommend, just wear comfortable shoes!

This tour was very thorough. The tour to get to the Sistine chapel LONG haha, a lot of information and a lot of history. The tour guide was very good - sometimes challenging to understand bc of the accent (but these individuals speak like 3 languages). But I would def recommend bc there is so much to see you def need someone to walk you through it!

Nadia was a super knowledgeable guide and explained so much detail during both the Vatican and Vatican Museums. The trip to the top of St. Peter’s is totally worth it, but it is a climb of over 600 steps. It is a solid workout. The Museums were very crowded and that made it difficult to lock in on any particular pieces, but the experience was worth the visit.

Fantastic experience that was very educational. Guide was knowledgeable and informative. Be prepared to walk. Climb to top was tight but worth it.

Great tour, very informative and interesting. It was nice to move to the front of the line since we were in a group. Our guide Sabrina was wonderful!

Good. First Hal if the tour was really good with information about Vatican. Second half was bit fast and lot of information shared in little time, that caused losing link with it. Tour guide was knowledgeable but with little ascent hard to follow. Also, she couldn’t keep group together while sharing information in the second half. She had a great attitude and pleasant personality.

We had an amazing tour with Sandra! She was very knowledgeable, passionate about the history and art, and she made us feel like we were the only people on the tour! The entire time, she engaged the group, and the time passed so fast with her detailed explanations with each phase of the tour. Even though we did not purchase the tickets for the walk to the top of the dome, Sandra was quick to assist us with making the additional purchase so we could enjoy the breathtaking views from the top of the dome! I highly recommend ItaliaTours, and especially Sandra for this tour!!

Great half day tour incl Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, Papal grotto, St Peter’s Basilica ending with the Dome climb. Maria was a great guide: engaging and interesting to listen to, knowledgeable and caring of each person’s needs. She needs to be acknowledged as one of the stand out tour guides on our holiday (and we have had a few!). Just the right amount of time and detail for our family of 4’a intro to the Vatican. Highly recommend.

Maria was phenomenal! She was knowledgeable about all the art and the history, she was engaging and fun to listen to. I could have listened to her talk about the basilica and museum all day. It was an early morning, but I would do it again in a heartbeat!
