Amsterdam VIP Canal Cruise: Small Group, Drinks & Snacks

Excellent boat tour. Our guide and captain was Robert who was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also answered loads of our off piste questions about the city so it wasn’t scripted. 🤩 The drinks were top notch, great snacks and the boat was clean and comfortable. We went as a couple and there were 6 passengers in total. Quiet and chilled. Definitely recommend 🙌🏻 Thank you.

Such a great afternoon! We stayed in Canal House right by Pure Boats which worked really well. There were 6 of us on the boat “Lucy”. She was a beautiful boat and the Captain was interesting, informative and fun. It was a joy to experience Amsterdam from the water and Pure Boats definitely have some of the best boats and Captains on the water!

I booked this for my sister and I because i have taken canal tours on other visits to Amsterdam and thought it would be a fun way for my sister to see the city and learn more about it’s history. The boat itself was very nice but there was barely any commentary and we mostly just cruised around like a floating cocktail party. We were seated at a banquette table with 1 other person with one plate of snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes, olives, nuts, cookies) for the table. The man seated with us looked very dirty (greasy hair, dirty clothes) and he proceeded to touch everything on the plate. My sister and I didn’t want to even touch any of the food after he fingered everything. Very disappointed and, for the price, and i thought we should have been given a plate for the 2 of us. The tour hostess/commentator, was a young woman from Hungary who had been in Amsterdam for 3 years (student). She was pleasant but offered only minimal commentary on what we were seeing and very little history of the city. I wanted to treat my sister to a special experience and was very disappointed.

This is by far the nicest boat and crew on the canals. An elegant environment with great food and drinks along with expert guides providing the narrative along the way. Nathan was an excellent guide and host. This is the canal cruise to book.

Great personalized experience. We had a small group of 8. Enjoyed cruising the canals in a lovely boat with cocktails and dessert. Very informative and professional yet friendly. Highly recommend.

Book this cruise! Fenton and Annabella were very informative of history around the canals and encouraged questions about different parts of Amsterdam. Kept our drinks full and yummy snacks.

Oliver and the tour were amazing. He knew so much of the history and related that to a lot of the history related to the US history. I would highly recommend THIS captain and this tour. It is a must if you come to Amsterdam.
