Alex was awesome! He’s knowledgeable, funny, and really made the tour great. He explained the history of Teotihuacán in a way that was easy to understand and kept everyone engaged. The pace of the tour was perfect, and he always made sure we were comfortable and had time for photos and questions. I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially with Alex as the guide!

For a first-time visitor to Mexico City, this tour should definitely not be missed! I myself had a very memorable and enriching Teotihuacan experience, which I can attribute largely to our group's tour guide, Alex. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and very attentive to all of us. Our bus driver, Santana, on the other hand, ensured that we had a safe and comfortable ride throughout the planned itinerary. The most memorable part of the tour for me was climbing the Pyramid of the Moon. Though challenging because of its uneven steps, I happily made it to the non-restricted/public section of the pyramid, offering such an unforgettable and breathtaking view!

We had a great time!! Alicia was an expert guide and we learned so much about Teotihuacan. The lunch, obsidian workshop and tequila/mezcal tastings were fun too. Would wholeheartedly recommend

Alex is super informative! Take comfortable shoes because it is a hike. What a way to experience Teotihuacan! Santana was a safe driver.

I highly encourage anyone to take this tour to Teotihuacan! I appreciated Héctor’s amazing knowledge - I learned a lot from him. You couldn’t ask for a better tour guide! The bus ride was comfortable and the price was reasonable. I didn’t have the lunch. Thank you Héctor!!

I had a wonderful visit. We met early at the Amigo office, boarded a big bus and we all enjoyed listening to our guide Salvador who was an incredible source of information. He was generous with his explanations and very knowledgeable. His English is very good. We also stopped at a large shop with a good selection of typical Mexican clothing, jewelry etc. As I was part of the English group, it was interesting to meet people different corners of the globe. Well-worth our time and money.

The tour of Teotihuacan was great, Hector the tour guide was funny & knowledgeable, and the only reason I’m knocking a star off is because of their association to the restaurant that was part of the tour. That restaurant, Tlacaelel, is a tourist-trap and complete rip-off. They charge $25 USD per person for the buffet (which is expensive even by U.S. standards and ridiculously overpriced for Mexico). That price doesn’t even include non-alcoholic beverage’s, those cost extra, you also have to pay to use the restroom! When we were about to pay for our drinks the waitress assumed the change was going to be her tip so she told us the EXPECTED tip is 10%. The funny part is we were planning on leaving her 20% before she made that comment, so we gave her exactly what she asked for, the 10% lol. This all would have been okay if the food wasn’t mediocre and if the selection of foods had been bigger (one of the disshes was sautéed hot dog wieners with veggies). You’re better off packing a lunch or ordering a-la-carte from the restaurant next door which was never mentioned from the initial communications.

This trip was well worth it. I can’t imagine visiting Teotihuacan without a tour guide. Hector was fantastic. He had a wealth of information and was quite charming. My teenagers were a bit overloaded, but my husband and I enjoyed it. I recommended going on the early tour. Make sure you grab a couple of water bottles before you head out. I'd skip the prepaid lunch buffet, and just order a la carte.

Hector was so professional and knowledgeable. He was so nice but also so much fun. I had an issue with my knee and could not climb to one of the pyramids, when he saw that I was left behind, he was so kind to offer me to walk around the pyramid and show me the facade of the Serpenti pyramid so got to see it without having to climb it. That was very genuinely nice. We had an overall great tour thanks to Hector. The bus was so comfortable, our driver was careful and the lunch spot was great/clean and delicious. However my surprise was the happy hour, I learned a lot about agave and tequila and bought some drinks on the way back!! Thank you guys, keep being awesome!
