It was a lovely trip. We were not packed into the boat. Nice number. We saw pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins. The crew were very kind and were very much into their job. They cared about the people on board and the animals of the sea. Wear sunscreen. Even on cloudy day the sun will find a way.

Well run, friendly staff and they speak multiple languages. Would definitely recommend it if you want to see dolphins. Whales are rare

Had an amazing trip on this catamaran on October 10. Tony gave us a lot of information about the history, the culture and the wildlife of the island. The highlight was of course the dolphins who came out to play with us. They sure were having a great time and putting on a show. Magical. The dip in the ocean afterwards was very refreshing. A big shout out to the whole crew. I've been recommending you to my friends so watch out for them :-)

Excellent! Had a wonderful time. Carla our host was excellent. She is a marine biologist so knows what she’s talking about. Friendly, relaxed, great value. Only 15 on our boat so not at all crowded. Saw dolphins and pilot whales. Highly recommend.

Fun ride, do the swim. We saw a baby dolphin next to its mother. Cute. The water is warm in September and it's easy to float. Wear sunscreen.

A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff on the boat who really care about the animals. Saw pilot whales and a couple of dolphins. So pleased we went on this trip. A must if in Funchal.

The crew were welcoming, friendly and informative from getting on the catamaran to the end of the trip. Excellent information on respect for the dolphins, where we were going into their habitat. I liked the 2 boats at a time only when in the dolphins vicinity.

We visited Madeira in August 2025 and on Wednesday the 6th we booked the catamaran trip with Magic Dolphin. The whole experience was truly unforgettable. Our kids absolutely loved the boat ride, especially getting splashed by the waves, and seeing the dolphins up close was magical. The crew made the trip even more special with complimentary drinks and by sharing their knowledge about the dolphins we encountered. We would highly recommend Magic Dolphin and will definitely book with them again on our next visit!

Magic Dolphin Celebrity tour was amazing. Smaller boat which was good. But it’s more the way they respect the dolphins and give them space and let the dolphins come to you if they choose to. Unfortunately for us they preferred another boat the day we went but we still saw them in their own natural environment. The guys onboard were very knowledgeable and looked after everyone, would book with them again
