Raul Guerra was sincerely the best tour guide. This trip would have not been the same without him. Thank you so much for everything. Thank you for creating a 10/10 experience.

This was a top notch experience, from the organization, the guides and the landscapes. Humantay and Salkantay mountains were breathtaking, and Macchu Picchu was magical. The food and accommodation were excellent! Our guides, Julio Choque and Saul Inca, as well as our chef Moises Quispe ran a seamless operation where we felt safe, very well prepared and cared for. What really made a difference was the guides’ extensive knowledge of the history and culture of the region. We learned so much while trekking, from fauna and flora, to Andean culture. Extremely rich experience that we will never forget. Would recommend to everyone coming to Peru, and would ask for Julio, Saul and Moises!

Overall, I had an awesome experience! Julio Choque is extremely knowledgeable about Peruvian and Inca history and added a lot of depth to the trip. Saoul Inca was very helpful and a solid, reliable guide throughout. And Moises Quispe is a great cook - every meal was consistently excellent. The whole team worked very well together and honestly I could not ask for more!

An excellent experience on the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. Cesar Quispe was a fantastic guide who made it more than just a hike, we learnt so much about Incan history and culture from him that was very interesting. He was very patient and supported us throughout the most difficult parts of the trek. The food was another highlight of the trek.

A fantastic trek with Salkantay Trekking. The best part was our guide Cesar Quispe, he was knowledgeable, kind and funny. It's a tough trek but Cesar made it more manageable. The food is also fantastic

Magical experience, wonderful company, and the best guide I’ve ever had in my international travels. Fredy apaza huarhua made our experience so meaningful and would highly recommend this company and him as a guide! Expert knowledge of the area, history, anthropology beautifully weaving ancient times with modern culture. Logistics, food, accommodations were all 5-stars ensuring everyone felt comfortable and safe the entire trek. I would absolutely come back again, thank you so much Freddy!

Such an awesome and exhilarating experience! The hike was led by tour guide Nico—he was so informative and helpful with anything we needed. The food also surpassed my expectations—so delicious while capturing the culture and flavors of Peru. The hike was itself was challenging but rewarding—especially if you’re in good shape cardiovascular- and strength-wise. We did 8-10 hours of walking every day for the 3 days. 4th day was just machu picchu. Snacks were provided and we took more than enough breaks for water/food/snacks. Do not do this hike if you are going to complain about the incline or distance—it’s meant to be challenging. I loved this experience so much that I was sad it ended—wish I did the 5 days one instead!

Best trip ever!!! Although the altitude is real (definitely go more than two days in advance to adjust accordingly), the most amazing views and most amazing stays throughout the trip. And NICO WAS THE BEST!! Best guide I could ever imagine, and best crew! So sad it’s over!!

The 4 day trek was great! The places you’ll stay are incredible and definitely one of a kind. To acclimate to the elevation, definitely get to Cusco a few days beforehand. We had Nico as our trek guide and he was the best!
