Madeira 4x4: Skywalk, Fanal Enchantment & Lava Pools

Amazing day! Gil was so fun and explained everything to us. We I would do it again. It is faced paced, if you are wanting relaxation not it, but if you want to see lots in one day with a knowledgable tour guide, this is it!

Excellent day trip, knowledgeable friendly driver. Would recommend for those want to see more than just Funchal. Take warm clothes as well at the top of the island it can be a bit chilly. The food stop recommended was very nice.

Our guide was very friendly and informative. The tour just hit the perfect places that I wanted to see. Fanal forest, Porto Monitz, cabo Girao all were really good. The only thing is our guide recommended a lunch place in porto monitz that is overpriced. I understand he was promoting local economy. But that was the most expensive lunch. Ouch!!

This was an overall great experience! Even though the weather got a little ugly on the north side of the island, David made it a very enjoyable experience. We got to see a lot of sights and when the weather cooperated back towards the south of the island, he opened up the top of the jeep.

Fantastic tour of the West side of Madeira Robert was a brilliant tour guide he gave us a great insite into Madeira. We had great fun with the other 6 tourists on the jeep tour with us.

Punctual, professional and well experienced tour guides.. the 4x4 where somewhat uncomfortable but they added a memorable flavour to the adventure!

This was a great whistle stop tour of the north coast. Roberto/ Stuart our guide was hilarious and made the trip a great laugh even with a tough crowd. I would say if you are over the age of 50 with any ailments book a mini bus tour instead because these people can very quickly dampen the mood of the trip for everyone else with their moaning. It is a bumpy ride! Make sure you wrap up warm even if it is sunny and warm when you start because it is not warm in the jeep or in the mountains. It’s also a long day and the lunch stop isn’t until about 2 so bring some snacks. Well worth it and we enjoyed all the stops!

Great experience, so much fun, our guide was exceptional. Highly recommend to explore The island with this group. It really was the best.

Great way to see lots of sites in one day. Fantastic bonus of standing up in the jeep through the forest.
