This was a wonderful way to see the city from a different point of view. The canales and one free drink were a great snack along the way. The guide was a bit hard to hear at times. We got some great photos from this tour.

Great experience well worth the money and time. Learnt a lot and the time was pleasant including the mulled wine and canneles

Calm, informative, spacious, relaxing, good wine, warm and clean. Up top view was lovely and then inside was warm and cosy

Nice, relaxing ride on the Garonne. The moderator was knowledgeable and very friendly. It was narrated in English and French. Great for all ages.

Only marked it this high as the staff saved it - the guide was friendly, informative and funny. Bordeaux as a city = fantastique. Bordeaux sights to see on the river = boring. This cruise could probably be wrapped up by the first bridge / warehouse as after this we felt there was no more interesting information or things to see The guide was very charming and perhaps if he wasn’t also holding the role of bar tender when not doing his voice over this cruise could be better. It wasn’t horrific, just in comparison to other river cruises (Budapest, Helsinki etc) it was drab and we noticed lots of people stopped looking out the window for the second half of the cruise. The ‘playing card’ you’re given to exchange for a free drink is really unique which I haven’t seen anywhere else, and the complimentary Canelé was interesting- definitely not what I expected! Almost marshmallow texture whereas we were expecting similar to a madeleine, and it was a lot richer / more alcoholic than we expected. But overall the cruise could be done in 45 minutes as theres about 10 mins of buildings then only lots of trees, some fishing spots, the “cappuccino coloured water” and a construction site to see. Not the fault of the hosts of this cruise at all, just in comparison to others considering we’re such big fans of this city it was disappointing

We enjoyed the trip; the hostess/narrator was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Our voyage was marred by a group of boisterous men. The guide asked them to quiet down, which did little good. The wine was good, as was the canelé. The Garonne River is unusual and interesting.

A great way to see the city! It was nice to enjoy Bordeaux from the river with a glass of wine. Thanks!

This was a very underwhelming river cruise. Not much to see other than a few buildings and some rusting old boats. A view of the wine museum and old fishing huts. The wine offered was undrinkable. And the canele was the size of a thumb. DO NOT RECOMMEND this cruise. Save your money.

Bordeaux is overall a nice city, with a lot of activities or a lot of historical places to see. It is not the most beautiful city, especially if you decide to avoid touristic places or if you don't have a few recommendations from people living there already, but I had a good experience spending a week in that city. During that trip, we decided with my family to take a ride on the "Prestige Cruise" with a free canelé and glass of wine. The idea of it is really nice and family friendly, because for those who don't drink, a free soda or another beverage is given. The cruise itself is good, even if the river is not quite pretty (be aware of this fellow tourists, and people will explain it to you: it is because of its composition and its maintenance). The crew is amazing, and the lady who guided the tour was really useful. She told us a lot of historical facts, which was complementary to the walk around the town that we did. Moreover, she was really funny, in a way that even the children were interested. I would recommend it, even if it required a certain budget, but it was one hour and a half well spent.
