Unforgettable Iceland: Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon & Kerid

This is an eleven hour adventure BUT worth every minute of it. Haldor made the trip very informative. We walked through an area of Iceland where the tectonic plates are slowly separating North America and Europe. We walked through an area with many geysers. Some were boiling, bubbling and producing a lot of steam, fascinating event. We drove through the town of Grindavik which was evacuated and all but 9 or 10 residents decided to remain in their homes. This was the result of a volcanic eruption and many fissures that left the majority of homes uninhabitable, sad, eerie feeling. To top off our day, we spent about two hours at the Blue Lagoon. Extremely relaxing and warm. Nice way to end our day.

Had an amazing time with an awesome tour guide called Axel. The views are superb and the blue lagoon was our favourite part along with the geysers. It’s a must do for anyone visiting Iceland

Good tour if you are short on time and want to see something of Iceland’s many natural wonders. It is a long day and with December’s darkness, you spend a fair amount of time driving in the dark. Our driver/guide was good, not great. Blue Lagoon was the highlight. All in all, glad we did this, just trying to be realistic about the experience.

Honestly, absolutely incredible - which is kind of shocking, given that there is literally 4 hours of daylight in Iceland right now (if you can call it that, given that it was gray and cloudy all day). Of course, all of the attractions were as awesome as promised - but that's not what differentiates one tour provider from another; rather, it's the person you spend 12 hours with and with whom you are entrusting with your experience. Monica is witty, fun, knowledgeable, great at sharing information, making people feel welcome, and I've honestly never had a better tour guide. I truly am thankful that I got put into her group - I'm sure the other guides are fabulous, too, but the vibe could not have been better. Incredible person, incredible sights - match made in frozen heaven!

Incredible Day! Waterfalls, geysers, volcanic craters, feeding wild horses, the North Atlantic Ocean, and the amazing Blue Lagoon! Life was made for living days like these, and all brilliantly hosted by Walter who provided the knowledge, humour, and fun, and organised the tour perfectly!

What a fabulous trip with a great guide. Walter had a great energy, was entertaining and very knowledgeable. The places we went were stunning and the blue lagoon finished iff a great day, I would definitely recommend it!
