Breathtaking Chiang Mai Sunrise: Doi Suthep & Monk Alms

This is a “must do” tour! Our guide, Tom, was absolutely amazing with a great sense of humor. This tour started my vacation in Chiang Mai with a bang. Tom.. thank you for being you… you were amazing and I loved hearing about your story and learning all about monk life :)

The guide was EXCELLENT!!!. He as very knowledgeable and accommodating. I also liked how he was kind to all the dogs at each stop.

A peaceful and zen experience. Quite surreal to be at Wat Doi Suthep at night. The sunrise was beautiful. All the locations were worthwhile to visit. Our tour guide Ata was informative, insightful, and generous with photo taking.

Our host was very wonderful, funny and enjoyable. It was a spectacular experience. It made the experience very spiritual and healing.

We had a private tour that was incredible and not to be missed. We were picked up in Chiang Mai at our hotel and we visited 4 magnificent, and different temple sites outside of Chiang Mai. The last temple we saw monks chanting and the experience was unreal. Our guide who used to be a monk was excellent and filled with a lot of knowledge and information. This sunset tour should not be missed when vacationing in Chaing Mai.

James was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable and made it such a fun experience, even with a 5am pickup. James shared a lot about his experience as an ex-monk, and this tied with his phenomenal sense of humor made this a morning we will never forget!

Arnon was excellent and made the trip all the more worthwhile. He was engaging, seemed to know everyone, hugely respectful and explained everything as we went. This is an incredibly interesting trip and one I would not hesitate to recommend.

I live a good sunrise and this one did not disappoint at all. The entire tour was a learning experience. Our guide James was fantastic! As an ex-Monk he knew all about the life of a monk from first hand experience and explained everything that was going on in detail. I really appreciated James and highly recommend this tour. The beauty of the temples and the forestry surrounding them is indescribable. You must see the beauty for yourself.

Our guide Tom was fantastic. Tom entertained us from the very start. He made sure we understood the etiquette when entering the temples, advised us on how to meditate. He made sure we were in a prime spot for sunrise and let us give offerings to the monks. Later on in the day we had our own private chat with a monk. Small tour as well only 8 of us.
