The tour guide Dexter was amazing with his storytelling. However, the tour is not ghostly, it’s mostly about creepy stories of St Augustine. It’s basically a night walking tour around St Augustine’s cemeteries and fort.

Our guide Lee was extremely knowledgeable about the bloody and deadly history of St Augustine. He was very chatty, and had good energy. But there weren't many places we visited where we could try to LOOK for or hear about specific ghosts. While we heard a LOT about the deaths and battles surrounding many of our stops, there was only a small offhand anecdote or 2 at each place regarding sightings of orbs or specific ghosts. I had hoped a GHOST experience would focus more on the ghosts and stories of sightings related to those specific historical events rather than a deadly history tour of downtown St Augustine. We also rented EMF readers for $5, and were only in a few areas where we could use them briefly without massive interference from electricity, power lines, or crowds of people - so they were essentially useless. Overall, it was an enjoyable night - but not what we were expecting from a GHOST tour.

Excellent story telling with scary amd ghastly topics! Glad we live now and not when St. Augustine was first a city. Fun tour with 2 cemeteries. Thank you for a fun time!

Overall I’d say it was worth it but we were expecting more. The employees were next level. My teens loved it. Wasn’t at all what we expected but still just awesome. I’d do it again.

Our ghost tour was with our guide Jennifer we had a great time. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something to do in Saint Augustine.

So glad we did this. Madame Jennifer was amazing as our tour guide! You can tell that she has a passion for St Augustine and we enjoyed all the sites and great stories of “old” friends.

Our guide was fantastic. We’ve done other tours and still learned a lot of new stories and historical facts about the city and its haunted landmarks. When your guide is as passionate about this city as they are about the supernatural, it’s a perfect tour for me.

- 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
- 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
- 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.
