Granada and Alhambra trip was a bit hectic. Definitely needed more time to spend in the area. To and from travel time was close to 6 hrs. That only gave a little around 5 hrs to explore area with guides. Lunch and break time took almost an hour. Regardless, trip organisers did an excellent job describing gusting importance of the respective area. Worth visiting this place again!

We had a really nice time! Alex was a great tour guide around the countryside and Albaicin area. We also did the Alhambra tour, and I highly recommend getting Antonio to be your guide there! Overall, learned a lot and had a wonderful & relaxing trip. We also got an unexpected flat tire on the ride home, but Alex and our driver handled it perfectly and promptly.

The trip was amazing but there were a couple of things they should have done better. There was barely any time to eat or shop at places you’d want to eat or shop. The Alhambra guide, Alain, was fantastic. The tour, end-to-end, could use some polish. The bus couldn’t drop us off at the pickup point so they made people who didn’t speak the language, and didn’t didn’t know the city walk 10+ minutes to try and find their ways back. A complete deal breaker for people who are less mobile and less adventurous.

All day trip. 12-13 hours. Our guide was super organized, did a roll call, kept us informed of all our pick ups and drop offs. And stayed in contact as we needed him

Even though at the last minute there were no tickets left for the Alhambra - BE SURE TO BOOK IN ADVANCE, as it surely is the highlight of Granada on this one-day trip - I decided to take a (long) ride to see at least something of Granada The group had only a half hour to "run" through the Albaicin, whereas I spent the very rainy afternoon wandering around the narrow, winding streets, visiting a family-owned ceramic workshop (which my daughters had discovered 25 years ago), bathing in the Moorish architecture and colorful flora, getting lost, finally coming out of the delightful maze and discovering a magnificent little Moorish bakery with such a selection of sweets - along with a cafe con leche... The guide for our trip, Driss, is a very special person - passionate about his job and the city of Granada and all it has to offer - he was so sad there was so much to show us and tell us about and so little time - even more unique, he took much care with each and every passenger making it a very memorable day in Spain A one day trip to Granada is ambitious (3 - 3/12 hours bus ride each way), however comfortable), but being that the tour was about seeing the Alhambra, there was essentially zero time seeing anything else in the city. We didn't leave Seville until 9:30a or so - better to leave at least 7a so that one could see more of Granada than just the Alhambra having driven all that way. Another suggestion for Naturanda - organize a two-day tour to Granada - one for the palace, overnight in the city with a flamenco show in the cave-like settings in the Sacromonte neighborhood, and a second day of exploring Albaicin, the Cathedral and numerous other gems of Granada

Worth the trip! The Alhambra is unlike anything you’ll ever see so if you can carve out a day for this you must. On the 3hr journey we stopped for 20min for the coffee, bathroom, and quick bite to eat. Same but shorter on the way back. Tickets are very very hard to get for the Alhambra without a tour so booking this tour well in advance (2-3weeks) is one of the only ways to guarantee entry. Having a tour guide is the only way to appreciate the history beyond just its beauty.

Our guide Gustavo was a very well informed and enthusiastic guide. He made us truly appreciate the detail and beauty of Alhambra Palace.

The Alhambra was to be the pinnacle of our Spain visit which unfortunately it was not. There was much communication breakdown initially and guides showing up late to the meeting point. As the trip progressed things got smoother but still confusing at times. A note - DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE ALHAMBRA WITHOUT YOUR ORIGINAL PASSPORT !!!. This was not clearly disclosed in Viator online info packet and we nearly got burned as we had copies. The state officials were understanding and made accommodations, but our on-site guide was very disagreeable about this as he had to wait several minutes for us to meet with officials. The Alhambra was fantastic and overall this was still a worthwhile excursion. Just be prepared for walking, crowds, and confusion.

This tour is a must do. Alhambra is beautiful and has so much history. Petra, our guide at the Albaicín, was so lively and loud but speaks very good English. The good thing about the tour was they split us into 2 groups, English and Spanish, when we got to Alhambra. Our guide, Fernando knew so much about the history and culture of Alhambra. He answered every question and he was a little funny too. It was a lot of walking on uneven surfaces but it was so worth it.
