This gives a really good glimpse of what the area around Amsterdam has to offer. We booked the "all inclusive" option which included a visit to a working windmill which was a definitive highlight.

Very informative and relaxing. Worth paying the extra to see how the windmills worked (I didn’t realise they were used for so many different things) and the boat trip. It’s fascinating to learn why there are so many canals!

Excursion was worth every penny. It took us back to the 1600’s. Our tour guide Diana was very knowledgeable and friendly. We added the cruise which was so relaxing and scenic. All of the shops were adorable. The windmill and clog demonstrations were great! Cheese demo was all of 3 minutes but the samples made it worth it! This tour is a must

While certain elements were commendable, several aspects related to the organization and communication significantly impacted the overall enjoyment of the day. Throughout the itinerary, there was a noticeable lack of clear direction, which frequently left participants feeling disoriented about where to proceed or what activities were planned at each stop. This absence of proactive guidance led to confusion among guests. Furthermore, some logistical arrangements appeared inefficient. For example, several walking segments involved considerable distances or backtracking, which could have been optimized. During transportation, specifically the boat boarding, the utilization of stairs instead of a more accessible ramp created a cramped and less comfortable entry for the group. There was also an instance at the Stroopwaffel store where the purpose of the stop was unclear, leading to some participants missing out on opportunities that others had already experienced due to a lack of coordinated entry and information. On a more positive note, I found the bus transportation to be very comfortable. Additionally, the visits to the windmill and the clog-making demonstration were exceptionally well-executed and highly engaging, standing out as highlights of the tour. To genuinely enhance the guest experience for future participants, I strongly recommend a thorough review of the tour's operational planning. Implementing clearer instructions, providing more detailed itineraries, and ensuring consistent communication throughout the journey would undoubtedly lead to a more organized and satisfying experience for all.

This is a wonderful trip to take. Bus ride, boat ride, and walking. Many things accomplished. The working windmill was phenomenal to see in action. The tour guide and bus driver were very professional. A must tour to take

This is brilliant! My kids are still talking about it weeks afterwards, the highlight of our holiday to the Netherlands. We recommend getting the enhanced package (in our case seeing cheese making and clog making). It was tremendous value with a fun, friendly tour guide.
