Our guide was great- offering recommendations for the free time in Lucerne. There was plenty of time- about four hours- to explore the town.

This is an unguided tour of Lucerne. You get some commentary on the bus on the way to Lucerne but the guide drops you off at the city center and provides a map and recommendations and picks you up at the end of the tour. You tour Lucerne on your own. There isn’t really much to do in the city. Olga the guide was okay and helpful.

Olga provided a city and history tour of Zurich on our way to Lucerne. The bus driver took the back roads so we saw the beautiful countryside.

This tour was great! We planned a last minute trip to Zurich and booking this tour made our plans so much easier and relaxing. It was a carefree way to go and enjoy the beautiful town of Lucerne. The driver and tour guide were wonderful, giving interesting information about the surrounding area.

If you want a day planned to the second for you, then skip this tour. We really enjoyed it, you get 5+ hours of free time in Lucerne and honestly, it went really quick for us, we loved it. Keep in mind, it’s Switzerland, it’ll be expensive regardless. Our guide and driver were both lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful.

It was a nice day to visit Lucern. The guide and driver were friendly and professional. The free time gave us a lot of freedom to do what we liked to do.

Lucerne is a lovely town with beautiful views, old town and lots of opportunities for chocolate shopping. Definitely worth getting the boat trip and taking your swimming things for a swim in the lake. Bernadette was a wonderful tour guide.

Wonderful day trip - our favorite was the walk along the fort walls /ramparts. Have a cocktail down by the chapel bridge !
