We went with our school, Don Bosco international. The tour was fun, we widened our perspective about Dharavi and walked through exploring and interacting with people who live there. We learnt about their lifestyle and business that are present in Dharavi.

-- I recently did a Dharavi tour, and it completely changed my perspective. Before going, I had only heard stereotypes, but seeing it firsthand was eye-opening. Dharavi is full of hardworking people, small industries, and strong community life. The guide explained how thousands of businesses operate there—recycling, leather goods, pottery, and food production—all within a small area. What impressed me most was the entrepreneurial spirit and how efficiently people use limited resources. The tour was respectful and informative, not sensationalized. It made me realize that Dharavi is not just a slum, but a place of resilience, innovation, and dignity. I walked away with much more understanding and respect than I expected. ---

The Dharavi tour was an eye opening and deeply informative experience that completely changed my perspective. The guide explained the history, industries, and daily life with clarity and respect, highlighting the strong sense of community and entrepreneurship. Walking through the lanes, we saw recycling units, pottery workshops, leather goods, and small scale factories thriving side by side. The tour never felt intrusive and was conducted responsibly. It showed both the challenges and the resilience of the people living there. I left with greater understanding, admiration, and respect. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a real, meaningful insight into Mumbai beyond stereotypes
