Beyond Ordinary: Johannesburg's Ultimate 7-9 Hr Journey

Mo was our excellent guide for this outstanding J-burg tour. He could not have been more kind, knowledgeable and helpful. All the places we visited were places I’ve wanted to visit for years. Mo made sure we got the most out of it all. It was a long and unforgettable experience, and having a local share his insight made it mean so much more. I recommend this tour 100%!

It was a very personal, one on one experience, the guides were knowledgeable and able to answer questions and speak extensively about all aspects of the sites we visited as well as putting things in the proper historical context. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who wants an elevated experience.

What a day!! Got picked up at our hotel by our guide Oupa. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The tour is quite extensive and we saw many parts of J’burg and Soweto. The highlight had to be our walk in the Soweto neighborhood where we visited a day care facility. The kids even sang to us. Oupa was always calling us his “VVIP’s[very, very important people]. He was always making sure we were enjoying ourselves, and protective for our safety. There were 3 of us so it was like a private tour! Thank you Oupa and Mo Afrika tours.

It was an amazing tour. Getting to know South Africa and Johannesburg's history, at the end they took us to an amazing community and we got to see and understand more about this beautiful country and it's cultures.

John was excellent, and the tour was just as perfect. I've never learned so much in one day and took notes on more to learn. The G20 was happening which forced many road closures but John made it all work very seamless. Everything was simply perfect. I would challenge everyone to see Johannesburg through this company.

Mo was an excellent tour guide. I wish I had more time in Johannesburg but this gave me a good taste of everything. I loved that Mo didn’t shy away from showing us things like a lower class dwelling in Soweto. It was a very impactful experience.

A great way to see almost everything Joburg has to offer in one day. The guide (Mo) was awesome and incrediblely informative. I learned so much in just one day. While the time at all of the venues is limited, Mo did a great job of saying what we needed to see with to make our time worth it. Its a full day tour and it's worth every rand!

We had an excellent tour experience with Banele, who was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The tour itself was eye-opening and educational about the history of Johannesburg and South Africa as a whole. I would highly recommend this tour to all travellers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour which covered a lot. The tour guides were excellent (Mo and Collins) - personable and professional. We were a bit late getting to The Apartheid Museum, and needed to get something to eat on arrival, which used up more time before going into this 5* Museum. Time was short, but Collins did his best to show us the highlights. We were part of a lovely group and honestly can’t imagine a better tour, well worth the money. Thank you 🙏
