Unforgettable Philly: 2-Hr Iconic Hop-On City Highlights!

We enjoy utilizing these bus tours when we visit a new city. We typically do the tour and also use it as transportation. We enjoyed that the Philadelphia busses have live guides. Each guide had their own take on the tour, which made it enjoyable for us.

Really enjoyed this bus tour. Chris the driver was really nice and gave me insight to some great pictures to take. I stayed on main level as I was with my wheelchair bound mother. He told me when to get ready to take pictures and told me some interesting facts and places in Philadelphia. Ruth was also good at being the announcer on the tour. She gave good descriptions and history of what was on the tour.

They work together with another hop on and off sightseeing tour company so you didn't have to wait long for the next bus to come by. They were all very informative, but you did have to start at #1 to get your ticket. Then there after you could get on and off at any stop. I would say the only drawback is that it wasn't connected to the app. I've used the Big Bus in other cities so it was convenient to see where the stops were in real time.

Have used this service in other cities to our satisfaction. This one did not live up to expectations. It was an abbreviated tour at best. It did not take us to many of the stops on the itinerary. There was a 5K race run that Saturday morning and they re-routed the bus another way. We were not told about this upon buying tickets. Big mistake on their part. We waited in traffic for what seemed hours. Even the tour guide upstairs was frustrated by these events. No apologies were issued and no refunds or passes given for an extra day for inconvenience. Shabby, aggravating and boring! We probably could have walked faster and seen more on our own time. FYI - in the future let people know in advance if there is to be a detour and delays. Thanks for nothin'.

On Tuesday many buildings are not open. We unfortunately also did not know that more were impacted by the fact it was Veteran’s day. Neither did the tour guide he felt they were all still open.

Tour was great. However, the app does not include a live map. So it was difficult timing hop on, hop off.

Perfect way to see the city and get an idea of the places you want to explore more. My recommendation is to do the full loop first then start your hop on hop off.

Tour around town was good. Gets crowded at times with unclear departure time and location. In general was ok

Wonderful time learning Philly's history with my grown kids!!!! Took 3 busses.. all 3 guides were very informative...

This is a great way to see and hear about downtown Philadelphia and its history. Suiting up top on the open air bus gives you a great view!
