Our half-day tour of Angkor Wat was absolutely unforgettable, and that is entirely thanks to our guide, Mr. Chenda. From the moment we began, it was clear that this was not “just a job” for him. Mr. Chenda is genuinely passionate about Angkor and its history, and his background and love for archaeology truly shine through. His knowledge of the temples, the Khmer Empire, the symbolism carved into the stone, and the broader historical context was extraordinary—far beyond what you’d expect from a standard tour. What made the experience truly special was his excitement and joy in sharing the stories of Angkor. He didn’t simply recite facts; he brought the site to life. Every explanation felt thoughtful, engaging, and rooted in deep understanding. He welcomed questions, encouraged curiosity, and made complex history feel accessible and fascinating. His knowledge of Angkor Wat and its importance as a UNESCO World Heritage site is impressive, and he shared detailed insights that truly brought the temples and Cambodia’s history to life. He is a fantastic storyteller with a strong, well-projected voice that made him easy to understand at all times, even in larger temple spaces. My husband and I learned so much during this tour and walked away with a deep appreciation for Cambodia, its culture, and its rich history. This sunrise tour was a highlight of our trip, and we cannot recommend Mr. Lok highly enough. If you are visiting Angkor Wat, do not miss the chance to tour with him!

An incredibly beautiful day at Angkor Wat. Everything went smoothly, and I was picked up from the hotel right on time! We received very interesting and insightful information from our tour guide Sam, who was extremely knowledgeable and always had great answers to our questions. We also had enough time at each location to explore the temples and take photos. I can highly recommend this tour to everyone! A special highlight for me was the Tomb Raider Temple and the sunrise. 🌅✨

I absolutely loved the tour. It was cool to see Ankor Wat, but it wouldn’t have been the same without Mr. Tola! He has so much knowledge, which really makes you appreciate Ankor Wat way more. He has great story telling, great English and also just a very positive vibe. Also shoutout to the driver Mr. Yang! Would absolutely recommend booking a tour with them.

We had the best experience on this tour. Although not the sunniest of sunrises Angkor Wat was still amazing to see as the sun came up. Our tour guide Chanda really made the day! We visited 3 temples and at each one he knew everything about them. Chanda’s passion and enthusiasm was so engaging and made this tour so memorable for us. I would highly recommend booking a tour guide when visiting these temples as learning about the history and architecture is so interesting. 10/10!

The tour was amazing, joined in solo on the day of my evening flight, and managed to see the coolest of the temples by early afternoon. The group was only 9 people, giving lots of time for photos and questions. The guide Narath was enthusiastic and funny, definitely worth it to paint the story behind the monuments and to transport around seamlessly in a van. The first stop is the ticket office for those who haven’t got theirs yet. Recommend!
