Fantastic tour with a great tour guide with a lot of knowledgeable insight into the food scene of old town Phuket. We really enjoyed the walks in between

This was one of our favorite food tours anywhere in the world! Lucky was so kind and upbeat, we truly had a fantastic time. Tried over 15 foods, big portions, short walks between stops and we could sit down at the stops, it was so perfect. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Lucky!!

A wonderful experience. Our guide Lucky took us to hidden gems. Highly recommended! If you can, do it on your first holiday so that you know where to eat the next days!

I have normally had bad experiences with food tours (usually they are overpriced and not worth it) but this one was the exception. This was a fun tour through the Phuket Central Market. We had an excellent variety of cuisines that were very tasty. And our tour guide Lucky did a great job. Highly recommend doing this tour!

Good variety, a Michelin recommended place, amazing and helpful guide. Very fun and friendly. Ask about seats and a/c options if you have concerns around these.

I highly recommend this! We go lucky with Lucky who was our guide, who contextualized food with culture, language, history and the geography of Phuket and how it’s influenced by Burmese, Chinese, Thai, Malay and Indian food cultures. I took 3 food tours with this company, one in Bangkok and another in Chang Mai for northern Thai cuisine, but the southern food tour in Phuket did not disappoint. We must have tried about 20ish dishes, so bring your appetite and pace yourself. I’m an adventurous eater, but I got to eat some things i never knew existed or were edible! Some exciting finds were: 1) hibiscus leaf curry 2) a side of Bai Muy and Cashew leaves with chicken stuffed Malay roti 3) shaved ice with fig jelly and orange honey yum! 4) Thai winged bean or Thua Fu. We walked around old town Phuket sampling items and looking through various curious interesting food items I would never have known without this food tour. I also really enjoyed the southern Thai take on the Burmese tea leaf salad and the Indian Naan with lamb curry. Yum yum yum. This company only works with local and independently run restaurants so that’s another plus. Pls definitely sign up, you won’t regret it!

Gigi went above and beyond, it was super entertaining to learn about Phuket cuisine and its cultural influence. All food was top notch. The last stop was magical!!

This is a brilliant way to try out some of the traditional Thai food that is not served on the hotels and touristy restaurants. It was very tasty and amazing to see the variety and great value for money. Our guide Cat was entertaining, humorous and knowledgeable. She took us around at a good pace and helped us with spice levels, amount of food to eat and in what order to try out the flavours.

Lucky was amazing and showed us to all of the local gems of Phuket - would recommend to anyone interested in sampling the culinary diversity of the island
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Service animals allowed
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- We can cater for vegetarians and pescatarians as long as those guests are okay that there may be 2-3 less tastings (out of 15) that won't be suitable. They certainly won't go hungry!
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if rainy is likely
- The tour isn't suitable for severe shellfish or peanut allergies due to the risk of traces and cross-contamination
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Note that our regular tour runs at 10:00am and 10:30am, and sometimes we add an extra tour at 12:30pm. Only the 12:30pm doesn't go inside the market (but our earlier tour times do!). Street food vendors take time off too, so not every Phuket food tour will be exactly the same, but fear not, the tour will always be packed with the good stuff!
