Fantastic Safari in Masai Mara! Great wildlife experience with lions, cheetah, lepards, elephants, hippos, krokos and many more :) Great impressions! Thanks a lot to our Guide Charo!

Charo was the perfect guide—incredibly knowledgeable with a sharp eye for spotting wildlife, and a truly cool guy to spend the two days with. His passion for the Mara was contagious, making our safari with lions, cheetas, elephants, hunting, buffalos, lions cubs, hyenas, and more an absolute highlight. Highly recommend him to anyone!

The trip was brilliant. The journey to the safari is a bumpy one, the “roads” at times is non existent so be aware of this, however it all adds to the experience for me. There are a few stops on the long journey which really help to break things up and gives you the chance to stretch your legs, eat, use bathroom etc The first evening we went for a small Game drive and honestly it was one of the most incredible experiences I have ever had-we were spoilt! Castro was great, he went above and beyond to ensure we saw lots of different animals so even before the big day the next day we had already pretty much seen everything! The accommodation was definitely better than id expected, nowhere near as basic and rough as Id imagined - that being said, it is still basic lol The staff were all very friendly, shout out to George the Chef who was also very accommodating and went above and beyond. We saw all the animals you could think of (except the Rhino) multiple times, got some great photos and just had a generally good time. Really want to thank Castro for making my birthday trip so memorable.

It was a fantastic safari tour, and Castro was a great tour guide and driver. He was taking care to move the car to the right spot for better viewing when we encountered animals and always trying to find animals. I really had a great time!

Visiting the Great Maasai Mara in June was an amazing experience. The park was quite busy since it’s peak season, but the excitement of seeing so much wildlife made it worth it. The weather was cool, the plains were still green, and I got to witness the early stages of the wildebeest migration — a truly breathtaking sight. Despite the crowds, the energy and beauty of the Mara in June made it an unforgettable adventure.

I was lucky to end up with such nice people and such a knowledgeable guide, Castro answered all our questions regarding Kenya and the animals and we learned a lot. With Castro, we saw every animal we could, and most importantly, we laughed so much. Everything was perfect.

Excellent, well organised budget safari. Castro was our driver and guide and he did a great job getting us to where the action was in seeing animals preying and spotting cheetahs on the prowl and leopards in trees. We stayed in a cabin which was warm, had mosquito nets and hot water! The food was satisfying and there was wifi. Having also done a safari in the Serengeti I would say that Maasai Mara is much better as it is more compact and you can see many more animals in a shorter amount of time in a smaller area. Well done to Castro for making my first safari the best!

We went with perfect safaris and was placed with Castro. He was great at his job and was able to track down a lot of animals- ie we were the first to see many of the animals before other tour trucks came to the scene. This includes spotted hyenas, groups of rhinos, and 7 lioness crossing the road as well as numerous elephant families. He is good at anticipating when certain animals will arrive at the scene and then putting us in front of the action. We went during the great migration and saw a lot of wildlife, elephants and wilderbeasts. Out of the big 5 we saw 4 and on the side a cheetah and a Savana cat— which Castro and one other jeep was able to spot. We also saw all of the ugly 5. Attention to detail was present. Our tour guide made sure we got to see the sunset (when available) and also tried to do his best so we can see that Mountain View from ambroseli park even though for most of the day it was overcast. He also anticipated ahead of time it will be overcast so had asked us to take a picture of the mountain so we don’t miss anything. He also has binoculars for rental on the car that’s about 12x magnification. He also diligently listened in on to radio communications for the shared knowledge of where to drive to hone into other tour guides animal finds. Overall our tour guide is diligent, knowledgeable, and experienced. He also made sure we had enough water and would periodically visit a clean bathroom. We were lucky to use perfect safaris. I realized along the way how rare it was to be placed with one tour guide the entire time. Some of the people kept getting switched in and out, and some of them had been switched around 3-4 times already and each time they will wait around like 4 hours for their guide. We had Castro for 7 days. And the lounging was adequate and most of the times it was quiet enough for adequate sleep. The food balance was excellent with ample beans, greens high content carbs as well as protein selection and was buffet style. There was also ready peeled fruit like watermelon for those that are not afraid to gamble with their bowels. My family ate some of that exposed fruit and did not suffer from gastroenteritis. This was an amazing experience and I would say half of the success mainly comes from who the tour operator is as well as who you get as a guide. We are very happy with our experience. By the way I really hate these websites like TripAdvisor that tries to steal my data just so I can write a review. Like I have better things to do with my time than to waste it trying to fiddle around to log in.
