Epic Colosseum & Ancient Rome: Skip-Line VIP Tour

This tour was absolutely fantastic! Amy (Amil) was an incredible tour guide who brought the experience to life through engaging (and entertaining!) stories, weaving in the history in a memorable way. I’ve been to the Colosseum once before and cannot stop talking about how much more I learned and will actually remember this time. The tour group meeting point was easy to find and took off on time. The group size was perfect to navigate around and we got lucky that crowds were low this time of year. We saw SO much in 3 hours, I’d highly recommend City Wonders and Amy for any tours around Rome!

We stayed at Lopesan for 8 days and it was honestly amazing. I enjoyed every single minute of it. The ambience around the resort is relaxing, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the dining options are incredible. The resort has 12 restaurant, Every night feels like a date night with a new experience. A special shoutout to the entertainment team. Fighter, Francisco, Big Mama and Kerry kept the energy going all day and night. Whether it was the pool, the beach or the theatre, they always had something fun happening. From the crazy games to paddle board yoga and the jumping classes, they made the stay unforgettable. The resort is worth every penny. I would go back without hesitation

It’s such a great experience compared to just walking around yourself. You learn so much more such as the fact that the emperor always walked in thru the north gate. The tour is well timed with toilet breaks in the middle. Tour size is ok as expected from group tour. It’s best for folks and family who wants to experience Rome most famous landmark.

Enjoyable three-hour tour with friendly and informative Maria-Luisa. Learned a lot at a good pace. Seemed good value. Would recommend

It was a very good and informative tour that revealed a lot of previously unknown to me details about the history of Rome starting with its early papal period. Also, such an extraordinary amount of true masterpieces of sculpture, painting, cartography, and other artifacts collected together in one spot. And, of course, St Peter is beyond any words of description. Even not being a Catholic I admire and bend my knees before its grandeur and magnificence.

Great way to see the main ruins in Rome! We enjoyed our tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum and Palatine Hill! Our favorite was the forum :) Lorenzo was a fantastic guide with a clear passion for history. We learned so much from him and he came prepared to talk about his favorite subject!

Our guide Lucian’s was really knowledgeable and allowed for a lot of further questions even those not directly related to the tour! She also had a great sense of humour :)

They are very profesional guys and a lot of knowledge about the places they guide you! A big Hurray to our guide Maria Luisa she was just really great!
