Fantastic tour booked through Viator. Our tour guide Andy was amazing, his knowledge of the Vatican was on another level. St Peter's Basilica was closed due to the pope doing a service so Andy extended our tour so that we could go in later. It should of been a 3hr tour and ended up 5hrs. I would highly recommend booking a guide with skip the line as the queues to get in without one were very long. Also the guide will tell you things that you would not of known if you walk around on your own. It will cost more but definitely worth it. Hopefully you will get Andy as your tour guide. 10/10.

Giovanni was an excellent guide providing entertaining and very interesting information about the history, the art, and everything you’d want to know about the Vatican. It was a highlight of our trip to Rome.

Giada was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and clearly explained the history of the Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and all of the art that we passed. She was very friendly to everyone and smiled often making us all feel welcome. Highly recommend. A++

Our guide Daniel was so amazing, knowledgeable and passionate he really made our trip one to remember and I’d definitely recommend him and this company , it was very busy but he managed to keep the group together while still answering our questions and giving us lots of invaluable information, once again another big thank you to Daniel.

This was our second time at the Vatican but learned and enjoyed our experience much more than our first. Our second visit was during the off season, without the crowds and we were able to take our time, and visited parts of the Vatican not normally opened. The guide also encouraged us to take our time, continually provided historical and anecdotal information and was also incredibly knowledgeable which made the whole experience more than worth the price.

Andy was an amazing guide and really brought the Vatican City to life - his insight and humour made it special
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
