We did this tour yesterday, our guide was Pietro Georgio (PG). We booked the skip line tour which after seeing the queue was a good call. The tour was amazing and PG was extremely informative, we didn’t know too much about the history, just the basics, so having PG sharing his knowledge with the group was well worth taking the tour.

We toured the Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel. Our tour guide Oskana was WONDERFUL! She was an excellent guide, so knowledgeable! She made the day absolutely perfect for us! Thank you!

This excursion was truly an amazing experience. I would highly recommend. This was a guided group tour which was beneficial because you were able to skip the long lines! So safe to travel. Plenty of security around the area.

This tour was absolutely fantastic! Our amazing guide Marina brought the history to life in a memorable (and entertaining!) way. It felt like we were on an art tour with history weaved in, which was absolutely perfect for me. I’ve been to the Vatican once before, but can’t stop commenting that I learned so much this time and will actually remember it. We also saw SO much in just 3 hours and had plenty of time to pause and enjoy our surroundings. City Wonders is a wonderful tour company that made the experience easy from start to finish. The guide was easy to find and the tour started right on time. Couldn’t recommend more!

Wonderful tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistene Chapel! Our guide Flavia was very knowledgeable and engaging, sharing facts and history about architecture, art, religion and even included fun stuff (like Perugino’s dog in the Sistene panels)!

Very well organised tour, our guide Leo was extremely knowledgeable, made the experience so much more enjoyable.
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
- At times, despite our priority access tickets, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues
- St Peter’s Basilica & Sistine Chapel are subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesday mornings, access to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included due to the Papal Audience. Entry is only possible after 1:00 PM.
