Unforgettable Ireland: Wicklow, Glendalough & Kilkenny Escape

The tour was very impressive! Our tour guide Brian was witty and very knowledgeable of the history of the areas we toured at Glendalough into Wicklow and our final stop at Kilkenny. This tour was well worth it! Would recommend this tour group if you wanted to learn history and see the vast greenery of Ireland when you’re not in Dublin City.

Our bus tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and that was entirely because of Pat and Alec. From the moment we stepped on the bus, Pat, our guide, welcomed everyone with such warmth and humor that it immediately felt less like a tour and more like traveling with old friends. His storytelling was fantastic—full of interesting history, local insights, and just the right amount of humor to keep everyone engaged and laughing along the way. Alec, our driver, was equally impressive. Not only did he navigate the roads smoothly and safely, but he also joined in on the fun with his own quick wit and friendly personality. The chemistry between Pat and Alec was great—they played off each other perfectly and kept the whole group entertained throughout the journey. What really stood out was how both of them made everyone feel comfortable and included. By the end of the tour, it honestly felt like we had known them for years. Their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm made the entire experience unforgettable.

Absolutely wonderful trip, I believe it’s the perfect length of time. All the locations were great, and you get enough time to enjoy each spot. Even in Kilkenny, you get plenty of time to explore and eat. Pat is wonderful, Alec is the best driver in Ireland. The price is very fair, and more than worth it.

This is a great tour. Lovely scenery and time. Even in rain we had a good time and both places are must sees! Ask for Pat and Alec, who measure things by a cow’s route.

Our tour guide was Mac and our driver was Adam and both did an excellent job! We had so much fun and learned a lot about Ireland's history, Dublin, and the monastic settlement. We stopped at the Wicklow Gap for a scenic moment and learned about all the movies that were filmed in Ireland. Kilkenny was very nice too. Mac was very knowledgeable and very communicative about when we needed to be back at the bus at our various stops. We got very lucky with the weather and had blue skies the whole time. Would definitely recommend!

Brian made this an absolute fabulous experience! Not only were the sites beautiful, but Brian’s extensive knowledge was so insightful and entertaining. I really enjoyed this tour!

What a brilliant day out, worth the getting up early, Dermot our guide was interesting, informative and funny. Beautiful stop off points we would definitely suggest you take the time to visit the gorgeous scenery Ireland 🇮🇪 has to offer.
