Breathtaking Titlis: Eternal Glacier Adventure from Lucerne

We started in Lucern and took a 45 minute coach ride to the base of the mountain. Then an amazing cable car ride and finally at the top awe inspiring views over the alps. Highly recommend.

This was a wonderful excursion!! Our guide was terrific and very thorough. We were able to keep our group together and didn’t have to leave anyone on the mountain forever- LOL. This was a highlight of our time in Lucerne. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience. Beautiful afternoon on the mountain. It does not disappoint. Our guide was excellent. She was so very informative and made the trip that much more enjoyable with her knowledge. Dont be intimidated by the expansion bridge. The view on the other side is worth it.

Dress warm! The activities were all fun and the views spectacular! The ice cave and suspension bridge were great as was the gondola and flyer ski lift. Well worth the money and highly recommend.

This was a 45 minute trip from Lucerne with a guide that told us what we would be seeing what we would be doing? I was under the impression it would be an English only tour, but the guide did the tour or narration in English in Spanish. Once at the top of the mountain, we were given tickets for the lift, told him to be back to the bus and turned loose. The view from the top of the mountain was amazing, but it was also very windy and extremely cold for -14°. There was a bridge walk over the glacier, but I couldn’t really find it and it was a little bit hesitant to give it a try, I am 69 years old so I skipped that. I did hear it was a little scary and it was windy, and so the bridge was kind of moving, but perfectly safe. I did walk through the glacier and that was fascinating. I took tons of pictures through different windows on different floors of the lift building. Finally went to the restaurant sat down and had a cup of their amazing pumpkin soup and a coffee with Bailey’s. Of course I hit the gift shops, I had to get a magnet for my refrigerator. The only problem I had with a whole tour is the location of where the bus was located I copied and paste it what turned out to be the name of the area, but not a street address so I was about a quarter mile away from where I should be. I also passed the area on my way there to what I thought with the bus stop but didn’t realize that’s what I was seeing. I called the tour company. They told me to type in my browser, the name of the company and it popped up the location of where I should be. Fortunately, I’m a kind of person that’s always early so I had plenty of time to get to the bus and was just two minutes away from the time they wanted us there. So my only comment would be unique to put in a link that gets us to the location of the bus. That was very convoluted. Highly recommend the tour.

Very nice. Of course we cant control weather and it was whiteout co editions on top. However the cable car rides were nice and the restaurant/bar on top was nice. We enjoyed walking through the glacier caves

Excellent activities at the top of the mountain. You get about 3 hours to try whatever you want. And the views are spectacular!

Don’t hesitate, great fun, just plan your events to make sure you maximize your experience, don’t fret about weather

The tour guides are so informative and kind! I had a scare that I left my bag near the parking lot and they stayed until we finally saw my bag. Everything worked well even the weather. The driving skills of our driver is superb even with the steep roads to Engelberg!

The cliff walk and Ice flyer was fun and exciting. The queue/ stand to take funicular, cable car and gondola was bad experiences - no seat and bathroom (with no entry sign) for the almost 1 hour wait. It will not be easy for senior visitors. As for the tour operator, I suggest a more prominent signboard to be displayed or request the tour guide to bring along a flag. We have problem to search for the correct tour group at the meeting point. After coming down from Mount Titlis, we have difficulty in looking for our bus at the parking areas too (there were more than 20 buses waiting for their guests). Our tour guide cannot be seen anywhere (later we learnt that she was stuck at Mt Titlis) ! We were fearful of being left out at foreign land !
