Abu Simbel Temples: Epic Full-Day Journey from Aswan

Good bus, excellent guide. Great value, I had a good time. I would appreciate if the place that we stopped had more nourishing food, but the trip was enjoyable none the less.

The tour starts at the same exact time for thousands of tourists resulting in a crowd at Abu Simbel. The organization was good but they definitely need to rethink this about the time. Everyone from the tour company was kind

It’s a long day trip to Abu Simbel. But it’s worth it. This would be a 5 star review but when we were arriving back in Aswan the guide walked around the bus and confronted each traveller with an envelope saying he was collecting tips for the drivers. It defeats the purpose of tips when I felt pressured to give. I suppose that’s Egyptian culture. Tips are essentially a mandatory fee regardless of service.

Communication about pick up location and time was very last-minute, they also picked us 40 minutes later than scheduled. You only have a guide at the entrance of Abu Simbel, who explains the history of the place. But during the visit (which by the way is very short and rushing) you have no one explaining you the drawing on the walls, the meaning, and the symbolism of the place.

The tour was fantastic. We only stopped once there and back for a quick break. There is a toilet on the bus as well. We had 1 hour and 40 minutes to explore the 2 temples because we didnt do the guide (tell your guide that once your all in there so you dont have to wait and he will let you go and tell you when to be back). That was more than enough time! When the tip envelope gets passed around on the bus back, its not mandatory BUT your guides/driver deserves a tip because they are up at 3am everyday doing this and its hard work and they do a great job and are super friendly. So even if you tip 100egp($2.) Thats better than nothing. The bus was back in Aswan by 4:30pm, but it also was the people on the bus who didnt come back on time from viewing the temples so I blame them. I would suggest not having to leave Aswan before 6pm just to be safe on time. Thanks again!

Tour was nice helpful. They gave bus not mini van so i liked it...guide was knowledgable...liked the road trip also

The price was a great deal considering it’s a long journey. However, the pickup was almost an hour late, and several of us were left waiting at the same spot with no seating and no clear communication, which was quite frustrating. The tour company also didn’t respond to text messages until much later in the day. Once we arrived, we were only given one hour to walk around — even though it seemed like it was supposed to be two hours. Because of the delay, the visit felt very rushed, especially after spending about eight hours total in the car. If there are other tour options available, I’d recommend going with a different company.

It was a very good experience with koroloss and Ahmed ( the guide ) Thank you for being so helpful Ps: the service team forget about my reservation and didn’t send me guide contact unfortunately Koroloss was there and check with them in the last minute In general I enjoyed the trip with the team 😁

It’s a unique experience that requires quite a bit of effort, as it takes about 8 hours round trip to spend only one hour at the destination. However, it offers something different and memorable

Wonderful. Everything was well organised. Our guide is very knowledgeable and can communicate in English clearly. The bus was comfortable and clean. We were given enough time to explore both temples on our own. After that, the guide explained the history of the temple in detail. I would highly recommend this tour.
