Unforgettable Sri Lanka: 14-Day Cultural & Wildlife Odyssey

Perfect Sri Lanka Family Tour with Mango was amazing. We were lucky to have a Vish, who welcomed us, was very polite and spoke excellent English. Thanks to his well-planned itinerary and helpful suggestions, we had a wonderful tour without any delays. He was extremely kind and warm toward my family. Vish was knowledgeable about the places we visited and provided us with useful information in advance, which was very helpful. I felt completely safe with him throughout the trip. While driving, he followed all the rules and proved to be an excellent driver, making the journey comfortable and stress-free.

I have just returned from an incredible 14 day tour of Sri Lanka. Plenty of history, culture and great food. With just 3 travellers, it felt like a very personalised tour and our guide Hasanka went out of his way to ensure that everything went smoothly. He was friendly, helpful and above all, a safe driver.

We had a lovely time during our 8 days tour through Sri Lanka. Everything was very well organized and our driver and guide took good care of us, was always on time and adapted the tour every day to manage the rainy hours so that we could enjoy every highlight. We chose the cheapest accommodations but where positively surprised by all the hotels and lodges. They were are super clean and the staff was very polite and friendly. We recommend Mango Vacations as they were engaged, trustful and we always felt safe an welcomed.

Our trip to Sri Lanka was absolutely extraordinary from start to finish. 😊💜🙏 We visited Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, and the beautiful hill country, driving through endless tea fields and stopping at breathtaking waterfalls like Ramboda. The safaris in Minneriya and Yala National Park were unforgettable, as was visiting Ramana’s Cave and the turtle hatchery by the coast. Everywhere we went, the hotels were clean, comfortable, and welcoming — and it was all surprisingly budget-friendly. We also enjoyed dining at safe, local restaurants that served incredibly tasty Sri Lankan food. Our guide and driver, Hasanka, was exceptional — always kind, patient, and especially thoughtful with our toddler, which made traveling so easy and enjoyable. And we were particularly blessed by the Buddha to be able to see his tooth covered in 250kg of gold, thanks to Hasanka's insider knowledge. The trip was perfectly organized by Nadeeka, who tailored everything to our needs and made sure every detail was taken care of. Thanks to them, we could simply relax and soak up the beauty, culture, and warmth of Sri Lanka. It truly was an unforgettable journey that we can highly recommend to anyone. ✈️✅😁

Literally the best adventure! We had an amazing time. Nadeka planned every detail perfect for us the planning process was so easy and fun to do. From the second we touched down at Columbo airport wonderful Hasanka took such great care of us. We are forever greatful to him for his incredible care and attention. He made the holiday amazing for us. Loch was a wonderful driver too. We are so greatful to the amazing team at Mango Vacations for our wonderful holiday we will remember this trip forever. We had an amazing two-week tour around Sri Lanka arranged through Mango Vacations, and our driver/guide Hasanka was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was always on time, reliable, and exactly where he said he would be — we never had to worry about a thing. His local knowledge was excellent, and it was clear he knew people all over the country, which made getting into certain attractions much quicker and easier. Hasanka was also genuinely friendly and easy to get along with; we even invited him to join us for dinner one evening, which was lovely. He kept us informed throughout the trip, always explaining the plan for the following day in detail so we knew exactly what to expect. We also decided to add a couple of extra activities while we were there, and Hasanka made it all happen seamlessly, offering great recommendations along the way. The only small area for improvement would be for Mango Vacations themselves — communication before the trip could have been better. We found we had to follow up a few times for final details such as our Ella train tickets and arrival arrangements. That said, once the tour started, everything ran perfectly thanks to Hasanka’s professionalism and organisation. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more enjoyable experience exploring Sri Lanka. Highly recommend both Mango Vacations and especially Hasanka for anyone considering a tour of this beautiful country!

Vagira was an excellent tour guide who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable throughout our trip. He was flexible to accomodate our interests and gave great recommendations. We found the accomodation very comfortable and enjoyed our holiday.

Vajira, our driver and guide was amazing. He made sure we were getting the most out of every stop and giving us plenty of additional recommendations for walks and local food. Cannot recommend Vajira from Mango Vacations enough, he made it such a stress free experience.

Great tour! It covers all major sites such as Negombo, Sigiriya, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala national Park. Beach time @ Mirissa and Bentota! Our tour guide Amal was a great companion. Always ready to help and go the extra mile. Thank you!
