What a great experience! Our guide Cenk Cengiz was wonderful - very kind and informative. The air conditioned van was beautiful and very clean. The tour was just the right amount of time and loved that the admission fees were included. Great value for the service provided and the fact that is was a small group (just 6 of us all together) so the experience was very immersive. Highly recommend this tour!

We can honestly say the tour to Ephesus and Mary's House was probably the best tour we have ever been on. Gurken was the most informed tour guide we have ever had having university degrees in Theology, Archeology and History. The mini bus was very comfortable with air con. There were no hidden fees. We were met at and returned to the Port. Gurken made the entire day not only an informative one but he took charge of our small tour group, thus removing any angst. We highly recommend this tour.

They were much better than we could have hoped for. Quality Mercedes van, professional driver and expert guide. We saved well over half by using Curio, and it was a much better experience experience than using a tour bus. Perfect for our family of 8!

Our guide was prompt and she knew so much about Ephesus and the history and surrounding areas. We had a wonderful day and also went to a rug factory and locally owned pottery place that was run by 4 generations of women. The products were very beautiful and some of us purchased items.

Our ship docked for only a brief time in Izmir and Cem managed to fit in visits for us to: the House of Mary, Ephesus, Artemis Temple, as well as a carpet making demonstration. I very much doubt that we would have been able to see and learn so much from one of the cruise ship tours.

Ephesus was absolutely incredible! The ruins are breathtaking, and the history came alive thanks to our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and made the experience unforgettable. I especially loved that our guide was a woman—it added a unique and inspiring perspective to the journey. We visited the Virgin Mary House, Ephesus itself, and the Temple of Artemis, which were all amazing highlights. We also stopped at a carpet shop, but there was no high pressure to buy, which made it enjoyable. She really tailored the tour to what we wanted to see, making the whole day feel personal and special.
