Genoa Foodie Journey: Taste Authentic Italian Delights

This was not the best food tasting tour I've been on. I usually go to one in every city we visit. Very disappointed in the selection, quantity and overall experience. Serena did a good job, but it was very difficult to hear her speaking (it was rather windy). Basically fried food and focaccia...one place we stopped they were giving away free samples of panettone anyway. Extremely disappointed...AND when I was on Trip Advisor trying to get some information on our tour the price had DROPPED significantly. I would have canceled and rescheduled but our internet was spotty. Now I really wish I would have. Certainly not worth the price we paid. The instructions for the meet up location were vague at best. Even stopping and asking locals they had no idea of the location. The picture is the first place we stopped (and ironically, the best), My husband and I had eaten there the day before. The "Do Eat Better" threw me off....maybe my expectations were unrealistic....I was hoping for slightly more healthy food.

Went to places that would of never stopped at. Was great variety of food samples and Serena tour guide was a wealth of knowledge and personable. Would highly recommend.

Great stops for street food. Tour guide was the best!!! Gelato stop was very interesting for frozen cream delight👍👍👍 also sight info was very interesting

Serena was wonderful. Full of information about the history of the city and the foods. And as a bonus,we were the only ones on the tour. Would walk with her again! Thank you Serena, for a great tour!

Serena was a wonderful guide! Very knowledgeable! Very fun! The places she took us to were delicious! At the end of the tour Serena helped us get a taxi back to the ship insuring the taxi driver charged us correctly, which had not been the case on our taxi ride from the port to the food tour meeting place. Beware! But Serena with her excellent Italian will help you!

Perfect way to experience a small part of Genoa. Our local guide gave us an in depth overview of a beautiful city. The food was amazing and she had us try things we never knew existed! They all were great!

Fantastic tour with amazing guide Valentina! The pesto was nothing like I have ever had before…. And the focaccia…… learned much about genoa through food. Book this and don’t eat before you go!

It was very nice and interesting. A very good mix of city tour and introduction to Genovese street Food and specialities. Our Guide (Deborah) had many stories and local legends to Tell and taught us about coffee rules and other things to know.

Serena was very knowledgeable and experienced. Our group of 10 had 2 languages and she did a nice job with both. Good mix of places and local venues. Provided additional tips for after the tour.
