Lima's Ultimate Coastal Expedition: Ballestas & Paracas

We had a fantastic experience with Lizbeth as our tour guide on Perú Hop for the Lima to Paracas Reserve tour, including the slave tunnels and Ballestas Islands. Lizbeth was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly engaging throughout the entire journey. She shared fascinating history and insights that really brought each stop to life. She was well organized, approachable, and always happy to answer questions, making sure everyone felt comfortable and informed. Her passion for Peru and its history truly enhanced the experience and made the long travel day enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—Lizbeth made this tour memorable, informative, and fun. Highly recommend her and Perú Hop to anyone traveling through Peru!

Unique tour and experience, especially the Ballestas Island and the Jose Casa with its slave tunnel. We even saw a whale! Jose Carlos and Sol were accommodating and knowledgeable guides. Could not ask for a greater day to see the real Peru besides the well known cities.

Peru hop was amazing from start to finish. When planning, they answered all my questions promptly, made great suggestions, were very flexible with my schedule (changing the 1 day Lima to paracas day trip to a 3 night stop in paracas) . Pickup was prompt and remarkably right at the hotel lobby in Lima. My two hosts, Sol to Paracas and Jose Carlos back to Lima were both lovely and welcoming. It was just a short trip on the Peru hop buses, but I would definitely consider doing it again if we were to go further in Peru another time.

Jose was a great guide. We enjoyed all the guides from cusco to lima. Johan, ana, roberto, franco, luise. They all took good care of us. Loved the starlink internet

Buses comfortable and WiFi is great. Alvaro was our tour guide and was great. Had a good sense of humor and spoke well. Information was good and knowledgeable

Luis was a really wonderful host and had a lot of knowledge about the secret slave tunnels! We had this included on our Peru hop journey and I’d definitely recommend it as you get to see more of Peru outside of the Machu Picchu and tourist parts.

It’s our 1st time, I found Peru Hop a well organized travelling company; coaches are clean and comfortable. Charger and free wifi on board are thoughtful. Drop off and pick up at our hotels makes life easy, we love that. To be that detail oriented in the travel industry is a big plus! Our guide Miguel is energetic, fun, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. He takes pride in his responsibilities and it shows. We look forward to our upcoming 20+ more days with Peru Hop. We are very happy that we are travelling across Peru with Peru Hop , and, our guide Miguel.

Great experience with Anayeli to see the slave tunnels and then on to Lima! An informative stop made it much more than just transit to another place!

I wish that we could have seen more wildlife on the water. Franco Did an excellent job explaining and teaching regarding the national reserve and the slave tunnels, in both English and Spanish, and was very comical as well! He also offered several pieces of advice regarding travel and is very personable and is even willing to help us learn more about traveling to other places!

Peru Hop has been an excellently organised and invaluable way of travelling through and seeing some of the best of Peru. The guides have all been great, special mentions for Gloria, Miguel and Franco who were always available for questions, very knowledgble and the tips given made our trip even better.
