Exclusive Mt. Fuji Private Tour: English Guided Adventure

I would recommend the private tour as it gave us the ability to maximize our time and ensure the tour was tailored to us. The itinerary was good, and we did see Mt Fuji from several view points, however due to the traffic to and from Tokyo (3hrs each way) we only had 30-45 minutes at each stop. We didn’t not visit Oishi Park, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine or Chureito Pagoda. I assume this was due to the time constraints, however this wasn’t communicated to us. The driver did provide some information and details about each stop before we arrived via WhatsApp, and when we arrived. We did have some concerns our guides driving (speeding and not watching the road) throughout the day. We raised these concerns with the tour company after our tour. The company were extremely apologetic and confirmed that the drivers actions did not meet their expectations of driver behaviour. They assured us that they would ensure this type of behaviour would not occur in the future, and provided us with a partial refund as compensation. We did decide to undertake the optional boat ride at Lake Kawaguchiko, which was a fun ride, but unfortunately Mt Fuji was hidden during this time. We were lucky with the weather throughout the day, and we were able to see Mt Fuji from all of the stops which was amazing.

Our driver, Amir, confirmed the night before and we adjusted the time and place. He was punctual and communicated well. He was willing to adjust and accommodate our wishes and desires; which you want on a private tour! I also liked that he did not feel the need to chat all the time on the long drive. It was a good experience and recommend him.

I went on a day trip to Mount Fuji guided by Amir. I highly recommend travelling with him. The day was lovely, he went at my pace and was able to find the best place for pictures and treats like ice cream and peach green tea. He looked out for my safety and made the day very special A wonderful day!

Amir was our assigned driver for our Mt. Fuji tour and he was GREAT!! Reached out the day before to confirm all information and was on time for pick up. He was friendly and was very helpful with taking us to different places and giving us general information about the location. Even assisted with taking some great family photos for us. Bonus- he was kid friendly and made our kiddos very comfortable and happy throughout our tour. Would highly recommend asking for Amir, if anyone is looking for a tour.

We spent a wonderful day under the guidance of Shah. He was a great driver, friendly and knowledgeable. We were thrilled to have had great weather and were able to see Fuji-san in full sunshine, and then later in the day were able to be above the cloud line. Shah gave us a great recommendation for lunch and brought us back to our hotel safely, happy and tired. In one long day we saw Mount Fuji from different perspectives, visited the Pagoda, and wound our way through beautiful scenery and through regular Japanese towns. Shah was an excellent guide and I would recommend this tour to others.

It was a great experience in Mt. Fuji with Clear View. I am so thankful that we booked a private tour and Mr Shah who was assigned to us make our tour easy and convenient for us he is very patient and accommodating also he is very knowledgeable on the places we went. Mr shah told us the stories behind each places and explained to us briefly the history of the places. My son enjoy with Mr Shah and we highly recommend the company and the service of Mr. Shah. We had a great time on our day tour to Mount Fuji and surrounding areas. Our driver/guide Shah has been exceptional. He gave us plenty of recommendations, gave us information on each destination and has been very kind and helpful to my family, which included my elderly Mother. I will definitely recommend this company and our guide Shah for your travels. The destinations within this tour have been exceptional, including the beautiful weather we had that day. Unfortunately, Mt. Fuji was completely cloud covered on the day I booked (October 7). My guide, Mr. Shah, still made the trip worthwhile. We visited: Oshino Hakkai - 8 Sacred Ponds, Lake Kawaguchiko, Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinji Shrine, Narusawa Ice Cave, and Saiko Iyashi no sato Nenba Village. Mr. Shah was informative and flexible to changing the schedule due to the cloudy conditions.
