1. The Pipiwai Trail is a 4-mile hiking trail located in the Haleakala National Park on the island of Maui. The trail takes hikers through a lush bamboo forest, past waterfalls, and ends at the 400-foot tall Waimoku Falls. The trail also passes by the Makahiku Falls, which is a 200-foot waterfall. The trail is considered to be moderately difficult, with some steep uphill climbs and uneven terrain. Hikers are advised to wear proper hiking shoes, bring water and snacks, and be prepared for changing weather conditions.

The trailhead is located at the Kipahulu Visitor Center, which can be accessed by car or shuttle bus. The shuttle runs from the park entrance to the visitor center every 15-20 minutes and costs $25 per vehicle.
