Mile End Montreal: Unforgettable Foodie Journey & Hidden Gems

An excellent experence, enjoyed the food, learned a lot about Montreal. Added bonus, so much to eat we did not have to spend big on a meal that night. A snack was all that was needed :)

Excellent guide - he knew the area, its history, and the individual restaurants really well. He created a comfortable pace for our group and we all enjoyed our introduction to Mile End, which none of us had ever visited before. And the food! Outstanding, especially the smoked meat sandwich at Lester’s Deli, the bagel at St Viateur and the Greek « pie » at Nianta (I think that’s the correct name). Thanks Darren!

I enjoyed the various foods. Smoked meat sandwich. Fish sandwich and lemonade. Greek pie. Sheep, goat and cow cheese tasting. Viateur bagel (YUM). Delicious hibiscus juice and oat ice cream Got interesting history of the mile end district.

I loved this tour! Our tour guide Simon was awesome. It was a great way to explore a neighbourhood and visit all the good foodie spots in it. Simon also shared some great recommendations of other places to try in the neighbourhood. I was so full after but in a great way! I’ll definitely return to some of these spots my next visit and go on the tour of Little Italy and the market. Perfect Sunday!

We had a fantastic time on our food tour! We loved learning about the history of the Montreal Mile End and enjoyed all of the food we ate! Loved the smoked meat sandwich and the delicious hibiscus tea! Our guide, Louis, was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! I highly recommend this tour!

By far our favorite tour on our trip! We had an amazing time with our guide, Lucas. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and provided interesting information. He was very attentive to the needs of our group and all of the food tastings were fabulous. Make sure you go hungry—there is a lot of yummy food included. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

With only 6 people in our group (plus the guide) we had plenty of time at all the food stops and also enjoying learning about the neighborhood and it's architectural features, like outside stairs. Loved the bagels, smoked meat, cheese and ice cream!
