Imagine rappelling down waterfalls in a private rainforest valley on the famed Road to Hana. What's rappelling? It's a popular adventure/gravity sport that includes a descent from a cliff or wall using anchored ropes. Under supervision and instruction from expert guides, you’ll use professional equipment to descend into nature in the Maui location featured in the movie Jurassic Park. Great for active families, couples, groups and solo travelers with an appreciation for dynamic outdoor excursions. Minimum age of 10; minimum weight of 70 lbs., maximum weight of 250 lbs., and waist measurement between 22 and 48 inches. All gear (including shoes) provided. RAIN or SHINE: We go to the rainforest. Waterfalls are naturally occurring phenomena changing rapidly at any time. When the streams flood due to rain and the falls are roaring or swollen, and we cannot safely rappel one or both waterfalls, we rappel 40- to 115-foot drops from jungle cliffsides at a safe distance from the water course.

Elena and Deacon are kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and amazing at what they do (hint: beyond rappelling, you might just get to eat some fruits in the wild). I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, although scary, was totally worth it. Also loved the group I met during the experience (:

Fantastic day! Alba and Elena were our extremely patient guides. 5 of my family members went (all novice) and we all loved it and would do it again. The whole group and leaders were each other's cheerleaders. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience and we highly recommend Maui repelling. Alba and Deacon were our tour guides and they are both top notch and professionals at guiding you through the experience. My wife who is non-athletic was able to complete the repelling tour and had fun doing in it. Expect an adrenaline rush, getting wet, and great times with family, friends or business partners.

This was a great experience for our group of 5. Dad & Uncle in their 50’s and 2 teenagers 14yrs old. The equipment and setup was nice and easy. Constant instruction along the way. Felt very safe. We did 3 rappels. 1st one was short and not straight down. The second one was partially in a fast flowing waterfall and the 3rd one was shorter and a slower moving water flow. Water was a little chilly, but refreshing. The guides were very helpful and demonstrated everything you needed to do. Great experience! Takes a bit of courage, but anyone can do it!

We are in our early 50’s and this was our first time repelling.. Staff was fantastic! We were in a group of seven. We had three repels. Instructors were very patient and we felt safe the entire time. So happy we booked this activity!

Wear swim shorts, yoga pants, light leggings, or anything that's easy to move freely in, that can get wet. A quick-dry tee shirt, cotton shirt or rash guard is recommended. If wearing a women's swimsuit, wear a tankini or tee shirt and shorts over it to protect your skin from the harness. We provide special footwear during the tour; there's a short walk on a gravel or dirt road from the parking area to the gear shed where you'll get your shoes, so you can wear any kind of comfortable shoe to and from the tour. Bring a mask, change of clothing and a towel with you. RAIN or SHINE: We go to the rainforest. Weather and waterfalls are naturally occurring phenomena; both can change rapidly at any time. When the streams flood due to rain, the falls are roaring or swollen, and the valley is alive with high or swift water activity. If we cannot safely rappel one or both waterfalls on such days, we do 40- to 115-foot drops from jungle cliffsides at a safe distance from the water course. Please note that it rains at least a part of every day in the rainforest.24 hours before travel date - 100% refund
