Molokini Crater: Maui's Breathtaking Snorkel & Coast Tour

I had an absolutely wonderful time on Redline Rafting’s Molokini snorkeling tour. From the moment I checked in, the crew made me feel welcome and excited for the adventure ahead. Their friendly service set the tone for the whole morning—warm smiles, easy conversations, and the kind of hospitality that instantly puts you at ease. The ride out was full of laughter, great music, and just the right amount of adventure to get everyone hyped for the day. Once we arrived at Molokini, the team really shined. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the reef, the wildlife, and the island’s history, and they shared it all in a way that was fun and engaging rather than scripted. Their guidance made even first-time snorkelers feel confident, and the entire group had a blast exploring the crystal-clear water together. It was one of those rare tours where you could tell the crew genuinely loves what they do—and their energy made the experience unforgettable.

Nick and Josh were awesome. We enjoyed this tour as it was more intimate than the big tour boats. They took us to multiple stops that had all kinds of beautiful coral and sea life.

Awesome adventure! My husband and I had a great time on the 5 hour snorkeling trip. Tony and Josh were outstanding and always provided a fun, safe adventurous atmosphere. We wanted a more personal trip, and being on a smaller boat that could go to places the big boat tours could not was a huge plus! We were able to spend some time in the water on the back side of Molokini which was exceptional. You more than likely will get sprayed by water, so be ready to get wet ! Highly recommend ! We enjoyed the tour and loved seeing all the amazing fish and turtles. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a fun snorkeling experience with the added bonus of getting close to Molokini. The breakfast is nice. The lunch sandwiches you can skip, but I would not count that against them.

Nick and Nick were great guides! Stopped at 4 locations, saw turtles, and lots of coral. Highly recommend taking this tour.

Awesome tour group with friendly crew members concerned with safety as well as having fun! We snorkeled at 5 separate spots, including the front and back of Molokini crater and 3 other sites along the Maui coast where sea turtles frequent. The marine life was very vibrant! Saw many fish varieties and many Hawaiian green sea turtles. Most were less than 3ft long and often would swim near the surface next to us (within an arm’s length) to get air. Once we saw a very large (old) one that was 5ft in length! There is a type of fish that clean the algae off the turtles’ shell and legs which we saw on a few giving them a “facial”. The water was about 80 degrees so pretty comfortable, although after several dives and sailing around it was a bit chilly when wet. Bring a dry shirt to wear between dives. Would highly recommend this group for a great snorkel experience!
