What an amazing and emotional day visiting Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and The American Cemetery. Our tour guide Matt was incredible and provided fantastic running commentary that perfectly accompanied our sightseeing. I learned a ton about all aspects of the D-Day invasion and the ensuing battle in Normandy. Matt’s passion for the topic and his storytelling made it an incredible day.

We had a great tour. Matt was a wealth of knowledge. It poured rain most of the morning. We did the half day morning tour. Definitely recommend this tour.

We were 100% satisfied with our tour with Ophorus. The company was not our first choice since Overlord was full!! And are we thankful for that disappointment!! Our guide Pascal had an encyclopedic knowledge of his material and brought it alive. His background gave him insight into the problems faced by the troops and what a monumental achievement it was, against stiff odds. He was patient and had a sense of humor. My only regret is that T did a half and not full day, but even half was far better than no tour at all!

Pascal was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor and friendly demeanor. He covered a lot of facts and history but in a manner that was engaging and relatable. I would definitely recommend him.
