I first visited the disappearing (vanishing) island years ago and it has always stood out as one of my favorite experiences at Hilton Head. So when I had family visiting the island for the first time, it was a no brainer to book this tour and I am glad I did. Cody, our captain, was super nice/friendly, answered all of our questions, and stayed on schedule. We had plenty of time (1 hour) to explore the island and got to see sand dollars, starfish, a horseshoe crab, and a sand-burrowing fish. On the way back, we saw dolphins and had a stop to collect shells (primarily oyster & clams). The tour was great and everyone enjoyed it--a highlight of our vacation.

This was a decent cruise out. It’s definitely not the Sea Screamer ride in Florida, but it was o.k. The dolphins don’t follow the motor waves like other rides I’ve been on elsewhere. Kim was very cordial and informative, nice guy with corny jokes. The boat driver got us around safely. Bathroom super, super tiny and not for the disabled for sure. Loved going to Disappearing Island, but didn’t see any sand dollars, Earlier boats that day picked them over. Saw 5 live star fish which was very cool! Wish they played better music and more music besides corny joke telling, decent boat ride, but not the best I’ve been on.

Great day to see several dolphins, some quite close by. Great captain Kate and first mate Michelle. Visit to disappearing island is a must see!

It was great. It was very windy out that day but the captain and 1st mate were great. She made every effort to keep us safe and still let us go to the disappearing island. The island was pretty unique. We found star fish and lots of birds. Some shells small ones. We saw lots of dolphins 🐬 up close. We saw some on the way out to the island and more on the way back. I really enjoyed my afternoon.

We saw a few dolphins, enjoyable boat ride. Captain Steve was so personable. The island was cool, found several starfish and sand dollars. Relaxing, enjoyable tour and was perfectly comfortable going solo. Definitely recommend and would do again.

There was great shelling on The disappearing Island. This is a great trip for families with younger kids. Teenagers not as much.
