Breathtaking El Yunque: Exclusive Small-Group Rainforest Tour

Had an idea of what to expect, but still felt this experience succeeded that! My fiancée and I were in a group with two other couples with Ricky as our guide who was top tier. He kept us all laughing and entertained the whole time while also providing lots of interesting background history on the area and vegetation around. We also felt like our group was able to park closer to the entrance than other large tours and go around much of them too. Ricky pretty much knew everyone we came across which made it feel more like a hanging with local than a touristy booking and shot some great couples/group photos for us every step of the way. Special mention to the mofongo restaurant we visited after the excursion as well… best we had on our entire vacation. Thanks for the memories from this!

We had an amazing experience with Shaly! The hike to the water was beautiful, and Shaly took so many great pictures of our group. The natural water slide, cliff jump and rope swing were all so fun, and the water was so nice to swim in. The optional hike to the natural water slide was a bit tougher but so worth it. And Shaly was so great at showing us where to step to get us there safely. The smaller tour group made the experience even better, and we had plenty of time to swim. Can’t say enough good things about this tour!

We had the BEST time as a family of four. My kids are 11 and 9. I was hoping for adventure and it far exceeded it. I loved how encouraging and reassuring our guide, Mitchell, was and how he also pushed us when we got a bit nervous. Let's be clear, it's not super easy to do this hike but it was so worth it. AND the best part was the small group approach. Honestly, there were bigger groups there that were being rushed. Mitchell didn't do that to us. He took care of us and made sure we had the best calm and loving time in the El Yunque. Big thanks!

Hands down the best tour I could’ve booked. Our group was small—just six of us plus our guide—so it felt personal, safe, and easy to follow. Shaly was incredible: energetic, knowledgeable, and gave clear instructions the whole time. We kept seeing big groups of 15–20 struggling, slipping, not listening… meanwhile our little group moved smoothly and actually got to enjoy the experience. Perfect tour, perfect guide. 100% recommend. 🌿✨
