Maui's Breathtaking Waterfalls: Exclusive Rainforest Hike

Must do while in Maui! It was the perfect experience. Momo was our guide and she was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and fun. She took us to 4 waterfalls. 2 private and 2 public. The private were by far our fav and could have spent all day there. It was my husband and me and a couple other groups. Perfect size. Would recommend you anyone who wants to have a scenic day and it be relaxing ay the same time!

Well worth going on this hike! The hike is fairly easy with some moderate challenges and well worth doing. My wife and I jumped into a couple falls which was thrilling! Michael, our most excellent hike guide, helped us to learn about and taste many of the fruits of the land including chocolate pods. He loves the land and was fantastic at describing all that there was to see. Much recommended!

This trip was booked thru my cruise ship. 12 of us from the ship were met by Allison. She is very outgoing and full of positive energy. Her love for Hawaii and nature conservation is evident in everything she does. I really enjoyed hearing her story, as well as her knowledge of the local history, vegetation, and wildlife. For me, this trip was worth the price. Though the hiking can be tiring (and there is a lot of it), we were able to swim in the waterfall pools, take lots of pictures, and even sample some of the local fruit. Allison provided a healthy sandwich along with chips, cookie, and plenty of water. She also took great care to make sure we were all having a great experience, and even took pics of us for us. She was phenomenal! I hope you get the chance to do this trip.

Our family of 11 booked the waterfall morning walk. We had a great time! We had a 3 year old and pregnant (6month) family members with us. I definitely recommend grabbing a walking stick at the hike's starting area especially for the stream walk. We enjoyed eating the fresh fruit right off the trees and cooling off at the waterfall. I highly recommend this excursion for families with varying age ranges and conditions.

We had a great time. Momo our guide was terrific. The problem was where we were told to be picked up. It was at a park and ride. When we got there it looked very sketchy. When we were dropped off after the hike our car had been vandalized. Someone drilled a hole in the gas tank. Big hassle and ruined the rest of the day.

We enjoyed this hike. It was pretty easy. I’d say easy to moderate as there were some hills we had to climb up and down so keep that in mind. The walking was easy.

Allison was great, very knowledgeable about vegetation and history. Hardest part of hikes was walking along a low rock wall/incline other than that fairly smooth terrain.
