This was a wonderful tour. Our guide was tirelessly helpful and kind. She was truly special. We saw Omaha beach, the American Cemetery, Point du hoc, a lovely cider tasting, a lunch in town, and the museum. So much value in one tour. I highly recommend and I am so grateful to have taken this tour.

Will was a great guide! He was knowledgeable, able to paint a picture of the time, and friendly. The WWII museum was an incredible collection and really gave a taste of what was happening on the front lines.

It was a 14 hour day, but so worth it. The van was comfortable, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable. There were only six of us. The round trip from Paris was about five or six hours, leaving eight or nine hours to view Utah and Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery, German fortifications, a very interesting D-Day museum, and a nice lunch. I highly recommend it.

Our guide was named Will and he was outstanding. A great driver and very knowledgeable about the tour and all things France. It was a full day adventure and it actually went very fast. We were never rushed and Will answered all questions in a very knowledgeable manner. When we returned he recommended a restaurant down the street which was excellent!

The trip to Normandy was so good. Being in a small group was worth the extra cost. There was just so much I didn’t know. We went to Pointe Du Hoc where soldiers had to climb the cliffs, they trained for 2 years to do this. It amazes me looking at it now how they managed to do it. With erosion there is a good chance the area could be closed within 5 years. We saw the Normandy American Cemetery. A peaceful and emotional place to visit. And we stood on Omaha Beach. The tide was out. Soldiers were brought to the beach, they had to get from the water to the sand and up the hill while dodging bullets. They didn’t really have a chance. It was such a sobering, emotional day.

We enjoyed an informative and fun (in spite of the subject matter) day with our guide Phillipe. Everthing was so well planned out and timed, ending with the moving taps ceremony at the American cemetery. We will always remember this experience.

Our tour guide (HP) and tour itself was fantastic. Our guide was prompt and very accommodating with everyone. We got to see everything that everyone wanted and cider tasting was fun. The restaurant we ate at was pretty good too! Would recommend and come back again!

Bruno was an exceptional guide touring us through Normandy explaining the complex events surrounding DDay. All the important highlights were included. Great stories and explanations. The visit to the American cemetery at Omaha Beach was moving. Truly it left a lasting memory. Ended the tour with some great cider tasting. Lots of driving, but worth it.

One of the highlights of our spectacular nine-day visit to Paris in November was the day trip my wife and I took to the beaches and sites of Normandy linked to D-Day. We were part of a group of six, comfortably driven in a private van by our wonderful guide, Brun. Outgoing and pleasant, she shared so much of her vast expanse of historical knowledge relating to World War II. She was able to take us places that most tour buses don't go, including a solitary section of Omaha Beach away from the tourist areas that gave us a sense, on the cold and blustery day of our tour, of what it must have been like for young soldiers spilling onto the beach out of landing crafts under merciless enemy fire. Longue-Sur-Mer, with its silent German batteries still standing, was another sobering stop on our tour, as was Point du Hoc, scaled by US Army Rangers with tremendous loss of life. And if the American Cemetery does not move you as a reminder of the terrible price that sometimes must be paid to preserve liberty, then you picked the wrong tour. The day trip is a long day, about three hours' drive each way, but we still had enough time to visit all the sites that we wanted, as Brun tried to maximize every minute for sightseeing and kept the group from dallying in rest stops. For most of us, this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the moving sites of D-Day and vicariously living through the Longest Day that changed the course of history. Definitely worth the cost of the trip and waking up very early to catch the van, and if you are fortunate, your guide will be Brun. Keep up the great work, Brun!

This was fantastic. It’s a long day, but the small group makes it go quick. A must for any American visiting abroad. Our tour guide treated the sites with such reverence, it was wonderful. Bruno was great!
