Antelope Island & Great Salt Lake: Utah's Wild Wonders

Beautiful sunny day for a lovely trip out to Antelope Island with Sonsari as our guide. She was very knowledgeable and made the cold, windy day a good one nonetheless. She was also very determined to find us the pronghorn. She knew exactly where they were hiding.

This was a great trip- we only had one chance to get out and see the natural beauty around SLC during our visit and I’m glad we chose this tour. Our guide Blake was knowledgeable not just about the city but about the wild life, plants and geology of the region. He was able to pick out animals for photo opportunities and made sure we saw the best views in the park. The tour was lovely and a great way to squeeze in a lot of nature in half a day. 100% recommend!

Other travelers should be lovers of wildlife as this was the focus of our tour guide. Our guide went out of his way to make sure we experienced all the wildlife of the island.

Blake was an amazing tour guide. His depth of knowledge about all the things was extremely helpful and our group got the best spots. He was funny and entertaining — plus, he takes the best photos. He ensured that we saw bison, owls, and the most beautiful sunset atop the mountain. I highly recommend the experience!

The Antelope Island tour was amazing! Blake was an incredible tour guide and extremely knowledgeable about Salt Lake City, the Great Salt Lake, and Antelope Island. We were able to watch the sunset on the island on the afternoon tour.

It was fun. It was beautiful. The guide was nice and the hike was great! Wear comfortable shoes because you are going to miss the hike if you can’t walk up and it is so serene.

Dress for the weather and hiking. The hike is short but steep. On a clear day, views will be amazing. Our driver Travis did a great job pointing out wildlife. Very personable and did his best to give us an excellent experience.

This was a great tour. I have never been out West, and I had a chance to see Salt Lake and all the wildlife it has to offer. Superb experience.
