We were fortunate to meet Nitin who was our guide to the elephanta caves. He is fifth generation on the island and gave us an insight into his life and family. The tour with Nitin was outstanding - His knowledge and passion made it a powerful and memorable experience. A bonus was his photographic skills using our mobile phone camera. Far better than what we could have done.

Interesting visit to Elephanta island with Nitin as guide. Saw not only the caves (with expert guide) but also coastal artillery and a little of the village.

The tour operator organised my visit extremely well. They communicated with me efficiently throughout the whole process and ensured that I was safely looked after, and attended to, by his various staff. The English speaking tour guide (Nitin) was outstanding and humble. He had a high level of English language proficiency and was very thorough in his explanation of the caves and contents, such that, I discovered additional valuable information, that being a British (Hindu) person, was never really explained to me. Our Elephanta Caves tour with Mr Nitin Mali was very special. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and was a whiz at taking special effect photos on my iPhone camera. Because he has lived all his life on Elephanta Island, he took us to special places that were not included in the tour. I will never forget the time spent with him. Would definitely recommend.
