Valparaíso & Viña del Mar: Neruda's Coastal Masterpiece

Javiera was great and the tour was beautiful and so much fun! We drank wine, walked around Valparaiso, went to the beach, and stopped at a lovely restaurant for lunch. Great way to spend a day.

Jorge G. was friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He made sure every one was accommodated and helped with all English and Spanish translation. He learned all our names quickly, and asked us questions to get to know us as well. He really did everything possible to make this an amazing trip. I’d go on any tour he led no matter where or what it was! This tour was super fun, and had just the right amount of stops. The winery was quick, but fun, and La Sebastiana is a must-see location and well worth it. You’ll learn so much about the history of Chile that you may find yourself surprised! Highly recommend this tour!

While educational the tour was also entertaining. Leo kept the pace lively, keeping the crowd on point and on time. Leonardo provided a courteous and comfortable ride

The team was super professional, and well organized! It was so easy to organize this trip with them and the experience was amazing! It was reasonably priced and everything was as promised (locations, arrangements, acccess to certain places). Jorge as a guide was great with the group, patient, informative, funny, and always accounted for everyone. Big shout out to Nelson, our driver too. I highly recommend!

Met up with Jorge our guide and Dalton our driver and set off. First stop was Veramonte Vineyard where we did a tour and heard about the making of the wine with some wine tasting. From the vineyard we travelled on to Viña del Mar and visited the famous flower clock and then headed to lunch in a restaurant right on the water. The seafood was amazing. Our next visit was La Sebastania which is, the poet, Pablo Neruda’s house in Valparaíso. The audio tour was interesting and informative … the house quite unusual and quirky with many avant garde rooms and ornaments. This was followed by a walking tour of Valparaíso. Amazing street art and lots of colour. Also went down to the port on the furnicular, Ascensor Concepcion, which was built in 1 December 1883. A long but unforgettable day.
