Good value for money tour. Quite comfortable minicoach and generally calm driver. The star of the trip is the guide, Pavel. He presents a well researched, well paced and humorous talk covering the history and culture of the island. There is some spectacular scenery that would be difficult to access without a hire car. For the optional lunch, menus are distributed on the bus, make your choice, Pavel sends the order and it's ready on arrival at the restaurant. Actually, the food was pretty good and not expensive at all. Pavel then made payment at the bar easy and accurate. Any negatives? Its personal choice but i thought Maspalmas at the end was not a nice resort at all. Also, it would be nice if travellers with really heavy colds either wore a face mask on the bus or maybe cancelled out of courtesy to others.

I’m 62, travel solo quite often and had never in all my life booked a guided tour before What can I say - as an intro Pavel has certainly set the bar high! Had an absolutely brilliant day, full of information and history and amusing anecdotes, all delivered beautifully. I even took notes! Saw loads and even though I felt ridiculous taking so much stuff with me (because I didn’t know what I’d need), I used pretty much all of it - a thick hoodie for up in the mountains, a fine knit for further down, an umbrella for the short time it rained, and flip flops and a sundress for the south of the island and the sand dunes. Saw and learnt so much. I highly recommend this tour with Pavel (hurry hurry hurry, it’s only once a week, on Wednesdays if you want Pavel as your guide!) Great day, great value, great memories made. I now understand why this excursion has such great reviews. Pawel is an excellent guide. He is friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. I was greeted with a big smile (that never left his face) on meeting him. The places we visited were breathtaking and the whole tour was very well organised. Well worth the money and highly recommended !

Absolutely amazing experience. I couldn't fault it at all. Pavel is an exceptional guide, making friends with everyone in the group regardless of country or background. He had great stories/jokes to tell during transit, plus a few bonuses (no spoilers). The sights were breathtaking and he really knew the best spots for all those photo ops. Even jumping into the fray and helping the restaurant serve us food! I would definitely recommend this trip to any and everyone, as we had an exceptional trip. Might have to make it an annual thing. All in all 10/10 for the experience, 15/10 for the guide.

Dude was mad chill and wavy as hell. Knowledgable and witty and funny and kool. He also has the same name as my great grandfather, so we connected on a deep spiritual level.
