Unforgettable Amsterdam Canal Cruise: Wine, Cheese & Live Guide

Originally scheduled for 7 pm cruise pick up in front of Anne Frank house. Perfect timing due to our scheduled visit time at the house. Received message we had to change to either 6:30 or 9:15 due to "technical issue". We chose 6:30 although it did rush us thru the museum. Your rep said we could go early to Anne Frank as they are flexible with entry time. Found this not true. Arrived 30 mins early and had to wait until exact entry time. Arrived 6:25 for new cruise, waited in line for 20/25 mins to finally be told cruise cancelled due to problem with propeller on the Titanic. Went to office to wait in line 20 mins to find new option. Decided to reschedule for 8 pm and had to hustle to get to Central Station, 20 min walk to new pickup site. After boarding at 8 pm, could not leave due to too many passengers on boat. After checking all tickets and wristbands found 5/6 people allowed to board wrong boat/wrong cruise line. Once they were removed, boat left approximately 15 mins late. Crew did a good job with service and tried to be accommodating knowing what our experience had been. Did not point out a lot of landmarks or festival lights. Arrived back at dock before 9 pm so this was more like a 45 min cruise. Rather expensive for that short time! Would choose different cruise line next time.

I highly recommend you to do the tour! Not only will you see bra canals of Amsterdam, learn some history but also have some fun with Sofia! Never before have I met such a charismatic guide! I will remember every single piece of information she deliver because she did it in such a funny way! If it’s possible to choose your guide, make sure you go with Sofia! You will not regret it, trust me!

Sophia really made the trip better than we could have expected… we were excited that we could have drinks and learn about the history of Amsterdam but Sophia made it funny and really interesting. She was so attentive and welcoming as was our boat driver jerun. We had the best time here and couldn’t recommend it more. SO WORTH IT!
