Ms. Mary our tour guide was amazing, she made everything very interesting and I loved all the stories and history. I would highly recommend this tour if wanting to get to know Atlanta and its roots. I recently relocated and it helped me gain so much love for the city. We stopped at the MLK Freedom Center, Ponce City Market and toured so many other places. 10/10 recommend. Thank you Ms. Mary you were so impactful and wonderful.

It was a great tour. Starting in Peachtree Plaza was convenient, we took the MARTA Red line train down from the Medical Center station(note: the escalator was one of the tallest in the U.S.-about 232ft long). After a brief explanation of that area, we boarded the bus, our guide and driver were great. Got to choose from a few excellent restaurants at lunch and see some nice homes in the afternoon.

It was a fun day in the bus our tour guide was knowledgeable and we dropped by to places in Atlanta that I’ll not be able to see on my own. If you have short time to see Atlanta I highly recommend that you book this tour.

Since our tour was on a Monday morning, it was just four of us, which made for a very nice and tailored experience. Don was fantastic and knew so much history and fun facts about the area - his love for the city of Atlanta shows. I also appreciated his songs and humor, and am glad to have taken the tour to see more of Atlanta than I would have on my own.

The first two hours of the tour were interesting. We walked along a part of the Beltline by the skate park, visited the tomb of MLK Jr. and Coretta Scott King, visited the Ponce City Market, and visited the Krog District. The second part of the tour was terrible. We spent it driving by fancy houses ands learning what the sale prices of many of the houses were (we get that’s it’s an expensive neighborhood, we don’t need to know every sale price you’ve ever looked up), and what famous people USED to live there. We drove into the parking lot of the Presidential Library but couldn’t see much because of the trees, then drove away, so that was pointless. By the last half hour I wanted to jump off the bus.

Don and Pam were fantastic! From the moment we boarded, Don kept us laughing and learning—he sang, danced, and shared amazing stories about Atlanta’s history and culture. Pam made sure everything ran smoothly and added her own charm to the ride. Don’s energy and deep knowledge made this tour unforgettable!

Mary, as tour guide, was a delight--balancing history with trivia. Unfortunately, the gov't shutdown kept us from totally enjoying all the stops on the tour, my friend and I liked the tour so much we are thinking of inviting a group from our church. The bus driver also did an excellent job of navigating Atlanta traffic.

What an informative, cheerful, detailed and engaging tour! We learned a lot of history, interesting Atlanta lore, important sites related to films shot in Atlanta, backstories to historic mansions, with civil rights history, architectural details, and suggestions for local attractions as well as restaurants. Mary was our tour guide and was charming, helpful, tolerant and accomodating. Pam was the driver and came to help me find my way when I was lost. Well worth it! perfect balance of bus time and time at stops. This tour is mandatory to get yourself situated in Atlanta!
