Cinque Terre Dream: Florence Day Trip & Breathtaking Trails

Our tour guide JoAnn was nothing short of amazing! Informative, pleasant and fun she somehow managed to keep our group together during a full day of walking and train hopping from town to town. The scenery was gorgeous and our “ Thanksgiving” lunch of pesto pasta was delicious! We took the most amazing photos and JoAnn made sure we didn’t miss a thing during our day! This was a bucket list item for sure, and I highly recommend it , just be prepared for a lot of walking, ( over 20k steps)!!! The area is absolutely magnificent!!! It was a great day. The restaurant was beautiful and food excellent. I am in good shape. I did the hike. I believe it was challenging. I dont know how they are rated. Large stone steps up and down the mountain. There are railings if necessary. I wore merrells rather than sneakers. I think this was helpful too. The guide was cheery and kept everyone together in a very professional fashion.

Our day trip to Cinque Terre was truly amazing. The landscapes were stunning, and our guide made the experience even better with clear explanations, helpful tips, and great professionalism. Everything was well planned, and we never felt rushed. It was absolutely worth it, and I would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide was Chris. Not only was Chris insanely informative but he was probably my favorite tour guide I have ever had. We had gone during the slower season in November so the boat ride was not a part of the tour due to the season, which means at some point I'll definitely have to go back. Brief rundown, meeting point was easy to locate and check in was a breeze. We then walked to where the bus was parked and on the way to the train station our tour guide (and the tour guide for the Pisa tour) informed us of the history of the areas we were passing on the way. Gaspare was an amazing driver and we had a smooth drive to and from the train station. From there we waited for the train and went to every destination with a lunch in the second town. Definitely had time to enjoy the scenery, the food and everything in between. The hike is one of the biggest highlights along with the sunset. Would absolutely pay for this tour again and recommend it to anyone who is trying to see the beautiful Cinque Terre.

All the instructions and details were clear. Claudia’s knowledge of the area was ideal! Loved how she directed the stops so we hit the sunset perfectly!

We book a transport only tour but Joana the bus tour guide ensure everyone is safe and she provided information on every site and she’s very knowledgeable of the history of Cinque Terrre. She’s like a mother to everyone, she’s very protective.

We had heard that the Cinque Terre area was fantastic, and wanted to visit the area on our recent trip to Italy. We booked the trip, and had a great time. Our guides were great, both informative and helpful. We learned about the area, the history and the people, and enjoyed the whole day. We would definitely recommend the trip!
