Andes Volcano Majesty: Maipo Canyon Full-Day Adventure

Beaautiful day hike in the Andes outside Santiago. Guides were well-informed, professional and helpful. The return drive to Santiago was a bit long due to rush hour.

Beautiful experience. Horse riding was amazing, very scenic. Hike was Hard but very rewarding hike - the base camp is at 4800 meters and I got altitude sickness; thankfully, I had medicine for it so it didn’t impact me much at all. Guide Dario was very professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. He didn’t rush us and was helping us the entire way.

The tour could not have been better. The landscape was beautiful and the guides were kind. This is the best tour I did while in country.

Great day trip. More casual hike than I’m used to. Slow pace. Fantastic guides who are very knowledgeable about the area, ecology, geology, and history of the region. The door to door service makes it so easy.

Incredible guides and stunning trek!!!! Hike is not too difficult but the altitude made it a bit harder. The guides went slowly and allowed people to rest when needed.

Great day out on the Cajón del Maipo tour. Scenery was beautiful. My favourite part was our tour guide Andreas and his knowledge of the geology and ecology in the area - it really adds depth to the experience. The pick-up/drop-off process is seamless too. Would recommend!

This is an amazing experience for anyone. It is an easy climb (no technique required, only a bit upwards at the beginning, and it gets easier as it goes). The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. There are stunning mountains and volcano around all the time, it is even hard to decide where to take pictures (I took so many pictures my phone literally ran out of battery), I whis I had recorded the entire experience. Both guides are perfect. Andres likes hard rock and even has a band on his own, he is really fun and knowledgeable, providing us with a lot of insights and telling us all about the history of the place. Laura is the sweetest girl ever. She helped me a lot with my Spanish, as we talked almost all the way. She explained everything, took pictures, and we had a lot of fun. I am for sure coming back for the same experience next year to appreciate the snow season as well.
