Rafael was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the tour was extremely well organized, and you could tell he truly cared about giving everyone the best experience possible. Puerto Mosquito Bioluminescent Bay was absolutely gorgeous — one of those rare places that feels magical in person. The glow in the water was unforgettable and completely worth the trip and money. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

This trip was very convenient, the only company I could find that picks you up in San Juan and drops you back off on the same day. The transportation was comfortable and convenient. The beach in Vieques was beautiful. You are dropped off on a street in Esperanza for dinner and to find somewhere to eat, which is the only added cost of the day. The bio bay kayak tour was absolutely phenomenal and the highlight of our trip! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Make sure to bring your swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and bug spray.

Great experience. We elected to meet our tour guide at the ferry terminal in Ceiba, but they also offer pickups from San Juan. At the terminal they took us on board the ship to vieques (45 min smooth ride). Once we got there they took us to a beach that had wild horses (very pretty). Bring water shoes because the beach was pretty rocky and had prickly burrs everywhere. We had 2 hours there because we took the 1 PM ferry (3PM ferry was undergoing maintenance so it was canceled). Also bring a beach towel/something to lay on as there are no vendors renting chairs/umbrellas. Also no restrooms there so change beforehand. While at the beach they had a spread of yummy fruits and Oreo cookies along with drinks. After the beach we went to a road that has a bunch of restaurants for dinner, also there for around 1.5 hours. Then we went to Jak Sports for the bio bay tour and they took us on a bus to the bio bay (be warned the ride is very bumpy!). They had glass bottom boats and the bio bay was amazing!! There were so many stars above us and even more stars below us in the water. You did get your legs wet as you had to go into water that was knee deep (shore was rocky and you can’t wear shoes because they could scratch the kayaks) to get into the kayaks and then as you were rowing the water would drip onto you from the oars so recommend wearing swim gear here. We went right around the full moon but still were able to see so much! And the guide was great with telling us scientific details about the bio bay and the stars! After being in the bio bay for around an hour, we went back in the bus to Jak Sports, and then back again to the ferry. The ferry back was again 45 mins but very cold so bring something warm for the ride. Overall a great experience and would do again. I think this is the best way to do bio bay from San Juan and come back the same day because it ensures that you do not miss the last ferry. There is parking at the ferry lot ($15/day), and a shuttle that takes you from the ferry lot to the parking area (otherwise a 10-15 mins walk).

I highly recommend this full day tour! It was the only tour assuring same day return to San Juan. The experience, from pick up to drop off was well organized and timely. The transportation was comfortable and the guides were knowledgeable and informative. Thank you Rafael, Daniel, Luce and David for coordinating a wonderful tour to Vieques and Mosquito Bay!

The tour is extremely well organized, considering a lot of traveling is involved. Every part of the tour was handled expediently, professionally, with courtesy, friendliness and humour. The explanations were clear, and we also got a lot of information on the bioluminescence phenomenon. We got to swim on a very beautiful beach, saw the wild horses roaming free in the palm trees, and enjoyed a great local dinner ( we chose Bananas) perfectly timed to a spectacular sunset. The Mosquito Bay is a special experience. We went a couple of days after the new moon, and the night was very dark. The immense starry sky, the singing of the frogs in the otherwise absolutely silent surroundings, and the glowing water under your feet (the kayaks have a clear bottom) and under your paddle. Fantastic!

Beach, wild horses, sunset in Esperanza and bioluminescent kayaking all wonderful. But extremely long day to spend with 11 other people.

Great tour that provided an exact time line. We had friendly and thorough service from the tour operator and driver. The timing was fairly exact and everyone was extremely nice. We got to swim and kayak along with riding the ferry. The planning was superb and the experience unforgettable. The kayak felt a little rushed and there was a lot of history and information about the bay. Use that time to take all the pictures you want because there's not many opportunities to do so. You will be very wet in the kayak.

The beach was amazing and the bio bay is truly one of the most unique experiences of my life. This is something you absolutely should do when visiting Puerto Rico.

This trip was amazing. Rafael was our tour guide for the day and he made sure everything was running smooth and on time. Every step of the was throughly explained which took away all the stress of trying to figure it out and we were able to just enjoy the beach and the kayaking without having to worry about the little stuff.
