The boat itself is a lovely wooden boat and very comfortable, and the lights reflecting on the water were very romantic, but the best feature was our Captain, David Paul. Not only was he knowledgeable in the regular features of the canals but he knew the names and details of the art installations from The Amsterdam Light Festival. A lovely tour.

Great host with good knowledge. Good value for money including free drinks & nibbles. Tour took us around most of the city so great to see it at a leisurely pace.

We took the 90 minute festival of lights tour. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the comfortable boat and heat! It was a nice way to end a day of walking all over Amsterdam.

Great trip, super communication, great Captain with lots of info. A large group of rather intoxicated ladies were a bit of a disturbance but were thankfully down the back of the boat! Would thoroughly recommend booking

The ship is decorated very warmly, with a variety of snacks and delicious, and the wine is of excellent quality. Captain Rolland knows every famous building on both sides of the canal, and it is difficult to beat him in any questions about history of canal. It is very valuable experience!

Our tour guide was very adamant that Amsterdam has too much over tourism. He is providing a service for tourist. I just feel that tourism is how this company thrives and it should not be discussed during a tour

Great trip. Giselle was a wonderful guide. The beer and wine with snacks were mich appreciated. Amsterdam by water is such a beautiful city! This is a must do.

An excellent personalized tour. Far better than the average tour you’re going to find which is canned and rehearsed. Gisele was excellent. She knew her stuff and was clearly interested in telling you about it. Plenty of wine, plenty of cheese, plenty of candy. We recommend highly.

We had a great time. Our captain, Teun, was fantastic. Friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend.
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Service animals allowed
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Due a lot of traffic at the dock, I can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
- A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Of course we will assist you.
- Beware all my boats are open. So when it rains, you can get wet. But rebooking with rain is always possible
- I always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Either direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.
- The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise, this is not the cruise for you.
- Captain Jack is collaboration between friends. Captain Jack is not himself on the boat.
- Due Health regulations (regarding food) animals are not allowed (service animals excluded).
