Loved our experience. our guide rodrigo was very knowledgable and very friendly. first, we went to the archaeological site and Rodrigo was able to give us a mini tour and the sites are incredible to see. then we headed to tequila and visited a local distillery with rustic charm. we learned about the process of making tequila and we were able to buy ALOT of bottles lol. then we headed to the town of tequila where we had lunch and walked around the plaza. Def recommend it and had such a lovely time.

This tour was incredible! We learned so much about the pyramids and the people who once inhabited the area. The distillery visit was both informative and fun, and the tequila tasting was a perfect way to experience the spirit’s full production process. Toward the end, we explored a vibrant market filled with culture, local vendors, music, and amazing food—such a wonderful way to immerse ourselves in the city. A special shoutout to Alejandro, who was truly one of the best tour guides we’ve had. Definitely request him if you can!

If you have time, I highly recommend taking this tour to truly build an appreciation from start to finish on the tequila process. It is both educational and fun. Great opportunity to meet history enthusiasts and world travelers looking to deepen their experiences.

It was a long day, but well worth it. Alejandro was a great guide, particularly at the archeological site. Very informed, and his English is great/easy to understand. He was also very accommodating (asking us how long we wanted to stay at each venue, etc). And my friend noted what a good (& safe) driver he was. Can’t go wrong with a trip to a tequila distillery too.

Carlos was a very professional and safe-driving guide for our Guachimontones and Tequila tour. Extremely knowledgeable about Teuchitlán history, significance, and the pyramid archaeological site. Visited the on-site museum with artifacts. Enjoyed tequila distillery tour learning artisanal and industrial processes, plus shopping and photos in town. Carlos recommended excellent restaurants. Highly recommend!
